Claims (1)

【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 １ ハンドルが取付けられたハンドル軸と、ハン
ドルに付与されたトルクを検出するトルク検出手
段と、 ハンドルの操舵に応じて操向車輪を転舵させる
ための転舵機構と、 ボールねじ機構を介して転舵機構に出力を伝達
し転舵機構を駆動する電動機と、 該ボールねじ機構及び電動機を保持する保持手
段と、 該保持手段を十字軸継手を介して固定部に連結
する連結手段とより成る電気式動力舵取装置。 ２ 前記ボールねじ機構は、一端において転舵機
構に連結されらせん状溝を有する雄ねじ部材と、 該雄ねじ部材に対応するらせん溝を有して保持
手段により回動自在に保持される雌ねじ部材と、 雄ねじ部材と雌ねじ部材間に配置される多数の
ボールとより成り、 前記保持手段は雄ねじ部材が転舵機構に連結さ
れていない他端側で固定部に連結されていること
を特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項に記
