In recent years, automobile parts such as head covers, timing chain covers, etc. have been made of magnesium alloys for the purpose of weight reduction and decorative effects. Fastening members such as bolts and nuts are usually used to attach these magnesium alloy parts (hereinafter referred to as magnet parts).

This fastening member is usually made of ferrous metal such as steel, brass, etc., and when used to fasten magnetic components, electrolytic corrosion becomes a problem. In other words, since magnesium is an electrochemically base metal, if it comes into contact with a different metal, such as iron, which has a lower ionization tendency than magnesium, and a conductive liquid such as water or salt water is present between the two, a local battery will be formed. Magnesium, which has a strong tendency to ionize, is corroded preferentially and in a short time. For this reason, if conductive liquid adheres to the contact area between the fastening member and the magnetic component, electrolytic corrosion will occur, and the lack of fastening force in the fastening member will cause oil smearing, which will impair the aesthetic appearance. .

The present invention was made in order to solve the above-mentioned problems of the conventional technology. It is made of iron alloy or copper that can suppress the electrolytic corrosion of the magnetic parts even if a conductive liquid adheres to the contact area between the magnetic parts and the nut. The purpose is to provide nuts made of alloy.

In the nut according to the present invention, a nut 1 having a shape in which the outer periphery of the seat surface is cut out, as shown in the cross-sectional shape in FIG. It can be manufactured by die-casting using an alloy, or by press-fitting a zinc alloy ring 2 made by cutting.

次に、本考案の作用、効果を説明する。 Next, the functions and effects of the present invention will be explained.

When a magnetic component is fastened to another component using the nut according to the present invention, the outer periphery of the nut comes into contact with the magnetic component via the zinc alloy ring. If a conductive liquid such as water or salt water adheres to the contact area between the nut and the magnetic component or its vicinity for some reason, a local battery is formed due to the difference in the ionization tendency of magnesium, zinc, and iron. However, since the potential difference between the magnesium alloy and zinc alloy is smaller than when the magnesium alloy and steel are in direct contact, the magnetic parts hardly corrode.

On the other hand, the potential difference between zinc alloy and steel is larger than that between magnesium alloy and zinc alloy, so if a conductive liquid exists between them, the zinc alloy ring will corrode to some extent, but the rate of corrosion is extremely slow and is not suitable for practical use. Not a problem.

As mentioned above, the nut made of iron alloy or copper alloy according to the present invention has a zinc alloy ring attached to the outer periphery of the seat surface, so when it is used to fasten magnetic parts, water or other water may leak into the fastening part. Even if a local battery is formed by adhesion of a conductive liquid, corrosion hardly progresses.
