転者に認知させることができる自動車用後方障害
物表示装置を提供することを目的とするものであ
る。

て、超音波送受波器1および距離検出ユニツト2
にて距離検出手段を構成している。また、給電回
路において、給電線5aはキースイツチ6を介し
て車載バツテリ7に接続され、線5bは線5aよ
り距離検出ユニツト2に接続され、線5cは線5
a並びにギヤスイツチ4を介して表示器3に給電
するように接続されている。なお、線5cは自動
車の後退を報知するバツクランプの電源線を共用
することによりスイツチ4を特別に設ける必要が

係を自動車の絵表示と距離に応じて長さの変化す
るバーグラフ表示にて明確に表示することがで
き、さらに後方障害物に対する危険度合を運転操
作に気を取られやすい運転者に十分に強く認知さ
せることができるという優れた効果がある。
