にやつかいである。クリーニング装置が大型化す
る欠点もあるため、最気では、クリーニング装置
内の前記回収箱中に排出コンベアを付設して自動
的に堆積トナーをクリーニング装置外へ排出する
試みがなされている。しかしながら、従来の排出
コンベア付クリーニング装置は排出コンベアの吐
出口に回収袋を単に別個に取付けた構造であるの
で、回収トナーをこぼさぬように回収袋を取外す
のに手間どる等の欠点がある。この欠点を解決す
るための技術として、米国特許No.4030824号、西
独公開No.2111759及び特開昭52−145043号が知ら
れている。前記3件の公知例の内米国特許No.
4030824号はクリーニング装置によりクリーニン
グされた廃トナーを廃トナー容器に収容する手段
が示されているが、複写装置本体を上部に引き上
げる操作(給紙不良時)を行う時クリーニング装
置と廃トナー容器が分離する。この時クリーニン
グ装置に残留する廃トナーが飛散し落下するのを
防止するため自動的に廃トナーの吐出口を止める
バルブプレートが設けられているが、前記バルブ
プレートで吐出口を止める迄は廃トナーの飛散を
防止することができない。又独公開No.2111759
号、においては、トナー補給装置と現像装置の関
係が示され現像装置とトナー補給装置を引離した
ときトナー補給口よりトナーの落下を防止するた
めの摺動可能のフランジとカバーよりなる落下防
止部材が設けられるが、この装置においても落下
防止部材の作動が完了する迄はトナーの飛散が発
生する。そして特開昭52−145043号は現像及びク
リーニングの何れにも使用できる装置であるが、
トナー搬送部の中間に取外し手段が設けられてい
る。この取外し手段にはトナーの落下を防止する
ため回動するシヤツターが開口部に設けられるの
で、一応トナーの大きな落下は防止できるが、切
離し動作に連動してシヤツターを作動させるよう
に構成されているから、小量のトナー落下は防止
できず、落下トナーが外部に飛散し、装置が汚れ
る。つまり、いずれの従来公知の装置もトナーの
飛散を完全に防止することができない。詳しくい
うと、従来においては、トナー搬送径路の切離し
時に、トナー排出口を自動的に閉じる工夫はなさ
れているが、この切離し部分においては、このよ
うな自動開閉材溝を設けたとしても、多少のトナ
ー漏れは避けられず、この漏れトナーが複写機の
機内を汚染するという欠点は避けられなかつた。

いて、前記シヤツタ部材と前記排出筒に摺動可能
に取りつけるとともに、前記トナー受け部をシヤ
ツタ押し部材と該シヤツタ押し部材に対して着脱
可能なトナー容器で構成し、かつ、前記搬送装置
と前記トナー受部を接合したときに前記シヤツタ
押し部材が前記排出筒の吐出口近傍部分を覆うよ
う前記シヤツタ押し部材を構成したことにより達
成される。
