鋸機では、のこ刃の外周に近接して該のこ刃の一
部を覆う状態に同一面内に設けた割刃にクサビ作
用を行なわせることで、上記した欠点をなくして
いる。携帯用丸鋸機では第1図に示すごとく、ベ
ース1の回動によつてベース1からののこ刃5の
突出量が変化するいわゆる切込調整に応じてベー
ス1に対する割刃14の突出量が変化するよう
に、割刃14を支持しのこ刃と同心の支持部13
に対し回動可能なアーム11と、切込調整時にベ
ースと一体に回動するようベース1先端に連結さ
れたヒンジ3とをリンク12で可動に連結してい
る。切込量を変えた場合、ヒンジ3、リンク12
によつてアーム11に回動力が与えられ、割刃1
4は上方又は下方に回動する。以上の構成による
従来の割刃機構では、切込量を変化させる操作力
によつて割刃14を回動するが、アーム11と支

けたもう一つの穴18には、一端を機体2にネジ
等の手段により固定されたスプリング22の他の
一端を掛止し、該スプリング22によりアーム1
