Reference numeral 1 in the figure indicates a washstand counter molded from a stacking board made by mounting a sheet 3 impregnated with a thermosetting resin on one side of a metal substrate 2. Surface-treated steel plates, aluminum plates, stainless steel plates, etc. are used for the metal substrate 2, and melamine resins, urethane resins, alkyd resins, unsaturated polyester resins, etc. are used as thermosetting resins. The sheet 3 impregnated with a thermosetting resin may be a laminate made of several layers of core paper such as crepe paper, or a sheet paper made of a single core paper.
Or, instead of crepe paper, it may be made of extensible fibers or the like. This washstand counter 1 has a horizontal plane part 5 with a mounting hole 4 in the center for attaching a washbasin (not shown), and a hanging part 7 is integrally provided on the front edge of the horizontal plane part 5 via a bent part 6. A rising portion 9 is provided on the end edge via a bent portion 8, and a horizontal upper flat portion 11 facing rearward is provided on the upper edge of the rising portion 9 via a bent portion 10. The edge of the attachment hole 4 is bent downward through a bent portion 12. In addition, 1 in the same figure
Reference numeral 3 denotes stud bolts protruding from the corners of the back surface of the counter 1, and 14 is a core material made of wood, plywood, etc. that is adhered to the back surface of the washroom counter 1, excluding the protruding portions of these bolts 13.

Next, we will explain the manufacturing method of this washstand counter 1. As shown in Fig. 2A and B, this manufacturing method is roughly divided into a mounting process, a bending process, and a heating process for thermosetting treatment. . Each step will be explained in turn.

The mounting process is a process for mounting a sheet 3 impregnated with an uncured thermosetting resin on the upper surface of a metal substrate 2 such as a surface-treated steel plate, an aluminum plate, a stainless steel plate, etc. In this case, the metal substrate 2 Although a stud bolt 13 is preliminarily provided at a predetermined position on the other side surface, which is the back surface, is used, but the gist of the present invention is not limited thereto. When the sheet 3 is mounted on the metal substrate 2, an adhesive such as a urea melamine resin adhesive or a phenol-resorcinol resin adhesive is applied to one side of the metal substrate 2, and then the sheet 3 is loaded and adhered. It can be installed as follows. If a primer is applied to one side of the metal substrate 2 in advance as shown in FIG. 2B, when the thermosetting resin impregnated into the sheet 3 hardens, the sheet 3 and the metal substrate 2 Since the adhesion with the adhesive becomes strong, sufficient bonding strength can be obtained for practical use without special application of the adhesive.

Next, the bending step is a step for forming bent parts 6, 8, 10, 12 on at least a part of the mounting plate 15 obtained in the above-described mounting step. Thus, a washstand counter 1 having the shape shown in FIG. 1 is obtained.

The conditions for the bending process in this example are a heating temperature of 140 DEG to 155 DEG C., a bending speed of 5 seconds or less, and heating and pressing with an appropriate load applied depending on the thickness of the metal substrate 2. Note that since the thermosetting resin impregnated into the sheet 3 is placed on the metal substrate 2 in an uncured or semi-cured state and subjected to the bending process, excessive bending stress is not applied to the thermosetting resin layer. Even if this occurs, the bending process can be carried out within the limits of the plasticity of the resin-impregnated core paper without causing any cracks or the like.

Next, the heating step is a step for curing the thermosetting resin of the molded product obtained in the bending step,
In this case, residual stress in the bent portion of the metal substrate 2 can be removed by heating, thereby preventing the occurrence of spring back over time. The heating temperature must be set at a maximum of 300°C or less in order to prevent sublimation of the thermosetting resin. As shown in FIG. 2A, the present invention has three steps: a mounting step, a bending step, and a heating step, but as shown in FIG. 2B, in the bending step, the temperature of the press die is increased and It is also possible to omit an independent heating step by setting longer heating and pressing times.

As explained above, this invention uses a metal substrate with excellent workability as a core material and bends the metal substrate and sheet at the same time, so of course it has excellent workability and productivity. In particular, in this invention, since the thermosetting synthetic resin is bent in an uncured state, even if the bent part has an acute angle or a small curvature, the thermosetting synthetic resin can be molded without cracking, etc. By thermosetting the metal substrate after this bending process, there are effects such as suppressing spring back of the metal substrate.
