産業上の利用分野
本考案は身体障害者、疾病者等の歩行が困難若
しくは不自由な人が使用する人力の車椅子に係る
もので、病院、施設、療養所等に於いて使用され

従来の技術

ークと接触し、手指を傷害する事故を生じ易いも

問題点を解決するための手段

定位置したものであつて、ハンドリムと大車輪間
に防護体を設けたので、手指と大車輪のスポーク
が接触することがなく、手指を傷害することがな

以下本考案の一実施例を図面に於いて説明すれ
ば、１は大車輪で、車椅子本体２と軸受３を介し
て回動自在に固定されている。４はこの大車輪１

り小径とするとともに手指による保持間隔５を介
して適宜数の固定リブ６により大車輪１に固定さ
れている。７はハンドリム４と大車輪１間に位置
した防護体で、外周を大車輪１のタイヤフレーム
８内面に固定している。この防護体７はハンドリ
ム４と大車輪１のスポーク９部を遮蔽すること
で、車椅子の使用者がスリツプ等によりハンドリ
ム４の操作を誤つて、手指を大車輪１のスポーク
９間に挿入したり、接触したりすることにより手
指が傷付くのを防止している。従つて防護体７は
手指がスポーク９と接触するのを防止出来るもの
であればよく、その形状は網状物、板状物等でも
よいし、また車椅子使用者の手が届かない範囲つ
まり防護体７の中央部についてはスポーク９との
接触の恐れがないので空隙１１としてもよいし、
大車輪１の外側全面を被覆するものとしても良
