A conventional outrigger-type ship for preventing capsizing has a floating tree fixed to the side of the ship via an arm. Therefore, there is little chance of capsizing due to external forces such as wind and waves, but when operating under external force conditions where there is no risk of capsizing (for example, on a sea surface with no wind and waves), the floating tree is in contact with the sea surface. The outboard motor had other defects, such as resistance, making it impossible to operate at high speed, and the outboard motor's fuel efficiency being poor.

The purpose of the present invention is to eliminate such defects, and its gist is to provide an arm that freely protrudes outward from at least one side of the ship's side, and to attach the arm to the ship's hull. A capsizing prevention device for a small boat is provided with a float consisting of a cylinder that expands when compressed air is injected from a compressed air injector and deflates when it is discharged, along the upper side of the ship's hull. In other words, during normal operation, the air in the float made of cylinders is exhausted and deflated, and this is attached to the ship's side. Also, when there is a risk of capsizing due to external forces such as wind and waves, or when carrying out one-sided work or carrying a large cargo, etc. When there is a risk of capsizing due to the internal force of
It is used as a float by injecting more compressed air (gas) and floating it on the sea.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. In the drawing, a indicates a small boat, a 1 is its outboard motor, and 1 and 1' are floats attached to both port and starboard sides. The floats 1, 1' are formed of a flexible member such as rubber-coated cloth into a sealed cylindrical shape, and are expanded by injecting compressed air. In this case float 1,1'
is attached to the upper part of the ship's side by the arm 2, so that when it expands, it floats above the water surface above the center of gravity of the hull. Therefore, the position of the waterline does not change drastically. In addition, rubber bands 3, 3... for float deflation are wrapped around the outer peripheral surfaces in the longitudinal direction of the floats 1, 1' at appropriate intervals, so that when the air from the floats 1, 1' is exhausted, the rubber bands 3, 3... The float 1 is made to deflate due to its elasticity. Furthermore, float 1,
A curved hard stop plate is connected to and fixed to the arm 2 along the upper surface of the float 1' to protect the float 1 and 1' and prevent the float 1 and 1' from being damaged by external impact. In addition to preventing the floater 1 from shrinking,
1' is accommodated on its inner surface so that it does not interfere with the operation of the ship. In addition, the floats 1 and 1' are connected to a compressed air injector (high pressure gas cylinder) mounted onboard the ship via a pressure reducing valve 8, a three-way switching pot 7, a flexible pipe 6, etc., and the float is 1,
Compressed air (high pressure gas) is fed into float 1', and compressed air from floats 1 and 1' is discharged.

The base ends of arms 2 and 2 are connected to shaft 1 on the upper part of both left and right sides.
0 is fixed, and the shaft 10 is rotatably installed on mounting pieces 12, 12 that project from the upper part of the gunwale. In addition, by connecting the base end surfaces of the arms 2, 2 to the gunwale side, the upward movement of the arms 2 is kept constant (horizontal state).
so that the floats 1 and 1' float above the water surface above the center of gravity of the ship. Furthermore, in order to maintain the arm 2 in a state in which the deflated floats 1 and 1' are attached to the side of the ship, a pin 11 is inserted and locked between the mounting piece 12 and the shaft 10, and the arm 2 2. Prevents sliding movement. Note that the arm 2 is extendable and retractable,
For example, it is optional to insert a small-diameter shaft into a large-diameter pipe and fix the pipe and shaft with a locking device such as a pin, and use it by configuring an arm in this way and adjusting its length. By doing so, the stability of the ship can be further improved.

To explain how to use it below, external forces such as wind and waves,
Alternatively, when the ship body is shaken due to internal force such as when crew members move inside the ship or when working on one side, the pin 11 is removed, the arm 2 is made freely movable, and both or one of the floats 1 and 1' housed below the water surface is removed. Compressed air is injected from the compressed air injector 5 inside the ship to inflate the tank.
Then, a buoyant force acts on the float and the arm 2 floats until it becomes horizontal and stands still (Fig. 3). In this way, the ship's oscillation (rolling) is reduced, stability is increased, and capsizing is prevented. Furthermore, when the three-way switching cock 7 is operated to exhaust the compressed air inside the float, the float is deflated by the elastic force of the rubber band 3 and housed in the stop plate 4, and the arm 2, stop plate 4, etc. hangs down due to its own weight, and a float joins the ship's side (Figure 2)
Therefore, the float can operate with less resistance. During operation, the rotation of the shaft 10 is restrained by the pin 11 to maintain the mating state with respect to the side of the float.

Figure 4 shows a state in which the ship is fully loaded with a large amount of heavy cargo; in such a case, the center of gravity of the ship rises due to the load of the cargo, and the floats 1 and 1' float below the water surface. However, the floats 1 and 1' reduce the rocking (rolling) of the vessel and are still effective in preventing capsizing.

In the above embodiment, the deflated float is submerged under water during normal operation, but it is also possible to attach the float to an exposed position above the water for normal operation. .

As described above, the present invention includes an arm that is slidably protruded outward from at least one side of the ship, and is inflated by injecting compressed air into the arm from a compressed air injector mounted on the hull. A float consisting of a cylinder that deflates when discharged is installed along the upper part of the ship's side, so when there is a risk of capsizing, compressed air can be put into one or both of the floats to expand them and use them as a float. It is possible to prevent capsizing by reducing the motion of the ship and increasing the number of floats. Moreover, since the expanded float floats above the water surface or near the water surface above the center of gravity of the ship, it does not unnecessarily lower the waterline. There is no risk that the vessel will lose stability and become susceptible to capsizing. Furthermore, even if the boat capsizes (the bottom of the boat is facing upwards), the buoyancy of the floats will prevent the boat from sinking and the fallen crew members can attach themselves to the floats, which can be used to prevent marine accidents. In addition, during normal operation, the air inside the float can be deflated and attached to the side, so the resistance of the float, like an outrigger type,
This can prevent speed reduction and waste of fuel. Furthermore, even if seawater enters the ship and the ship becomes a so-called water ship, the floats can prevent the ship from capsizing.

Since the float deflating bands are wrapped around the outer circumferential surface of the float at appropriate intervals, when the compressed air is discharged from the float, the float is deflated by the bands and is tied up and disturbed. It has the advantage of being compact and does not cause any hindrance to ship operations.
