Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the manufacturing process of an interior trim to reduce the manufacturing cost of the same and reduce the using amount of foamable material to improve the yield of manufacturing by a method wherein the skin sheet and a hollow body are molded integrally through resin foamed body and one part of the hollow body is embedded in the resin foamed body. CONSTITUTION:A skin sheet 20 is heated and arranged in a molding mold to form it by pushing it against a mold surface formed in either one of the tip force or bottom force of the molding mold, then, a resin foamable sheet is arranged on the skin sheet 20 in the molding mold and the molding mold, in which the ends of hollow bodies 40, 41 are attached previously to the top force or the bottom force which is not arranged with the skin sheet 20, is clamped, thereafter, the molding mold is heated whereby the resin foamable sheet is expanded toward the hollow bodies 40, 41. The inflated part 11 of an instrument panel 10 is molded integrally with the skin sheet 20, a resin foamed body 30, a duct (hollow body) 40 for the passageway of cooling or heating air, and a case (hollow body) 41 for mounting an air-conditioning machine while the duct 40 and one part of the case 41 are embedded in the resin foamed body 30.

(Effects of the Invention) According to the in-mold molding structure of interior parts according to the present invention, the skin sheet and the hollow body are integrally molded via the resin foam, which greatly simplifies the manufacturing process and reduces the manufacturing cost. Further, according to the in-mold molding method for interior parts according to the present invention, a resin foam sheet placed above a skin sheet in a mold is foamed toward a hollow body to form a resin foam. Since the skin sheet and the hollow body are integrally molded via the resin foam with a part of the body buried in the resin foam, there is a step of injecting the foam material between the skin sheet and the hollow body. It is also possible to omit the process of bonding the skin sheet and the resin foam layer, thereby reducing production costs, and because the resin foam sheet is foamed to form a resin foam, the foam has a uniform density. layer is formed, which makes it possible to obtain interior parts of good quality. In addition, since a part of the hollow body is buried in the resin foam, deformation of the hollow body due to foaming pressure can be prevented, and the use of one foam material is possible. Only a small amount is required, and the yield can be improved.
