ロスタイムを生じ生産性の向上は余り望めない。本発明
は、かかる問題点を解決すべく、フロア加工ラインの両
側のラインサイドスペースを増すことなく、ライン稼動
中に能率良く治具交換を行い得られるようにした装置を
提供することをその目的とする。

工ラインとを並設した車体組立ラインであつて、該各サ
イドパネル加工ラインの途中の溶接ステーションに、サ
イドパネル用の溶接治具の2台をその一方がサイドパネ
ルの搬送路に対向する横方向一側の溶接位置に存すると
き他方が横方向他側の待機位置に存するように反転自在
に設けた溶接装置を配置するものにおいて、該溶接ステ
ーションの上方の機枠に溶接治具の複数台を支承するス
トック装置を設け、該待機位置に存する溶接治具をクレ
ーン装置により該ストック装置上の溶接治具と交換自在
としたことを特徴とする単体組立ラインにおけるサイド
パネル用溶接治具の交換装置。
