Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease investment and space by demultiplexing a multiplexed digital signal at a storage circuit of an electronic exchange, inputting a telephone voice signal and a low-speed data signal to an exchange time-division switch circuit network and connecting a high-speed data signal directly to a high-speed data signal line. CONSTITUTION:A multiplexer 205 generates a digital multiplexing signal comprising, e.g., a high-speed LAN data signal 302, a telephone voice signal 303, and a telephone set control signal 304 and sends the signal to a subscriber line 206. Then the digital multiplexing signal is demultiplexed by a demultiplexer 207. Then the high-speed LAN data signal is transmitted to a high-speed LAN connection terminal 208, the telephone voice signal is transmitted to a voice connection terminal 209 and the telephone set control signal is transmitted to a control information connection terminal 210. Thus, the data from the high- speed LAN terminal is stared by using an existing electronic exchange and the high-speed LAN terminal with telephone voice is easily constituted on the subscriber line through one telephone line.
