A method of fixing the ends of hollow fibers with a fixing member, particularly a method of bundling a large number of hollow fibers and loading them into a cylindrical member, and fixing the ends of the hollow fiber bundle at a predetermined position within the cylindrical member with a fixing member. In this process, liquid raw resin for forming the fixing member is injected into the space 1 formed between each bundled hollow fiber and between the hollow fiber and the inner wall of the cylindrical member, and the raw resin flows out from a predetermined fixing position. Conventionally, a method of fixing the hollow fiber bundle with resin while preventing this by applying centrifugal force to the end of the hollow fiber bundle to be fixed has been known.

Specifically, in this centrifugal resin fixing method, for example, a cylindrical member loaded with a hollow fiber bundle is fixed to a horizontally or vertically rotating rotor or its arm, and the end of the hollow fiber bundle is fixed with a resin. In order to prevent the liquid raw material resin from leaking from the end of the cylindrical member, a fixing jig is installed to prevent the liquid resin from leaking from the end of the rotor. The resin container passed through the pipe is filled with liquid raw material resin, the rotor is rotated in this state, and by the action of centrifugal force accompanying this rotation, each hollow at the end of the hollow fiber where the liquid raw material resin is to be fixed from the resin container is moving the resin between the fibers and between the hollow fiber and the inner wall of the cylindrical member, and holding the resin there until the resin is cured and formed as a fixed member;
This is a method in which the ends of the hollow fiber bundle are fixed in a predetermined position within a cylindrical member using a fixing member in a liquid or airtight manner.

On the other hand, when performing the centrifugal resin fixing method by rotating the cylindrical member in the horizontal direction, the end face of the liquid resin filled in the cylindrical member on the rotation center axis side where the end of the hollow fiber bundle to be fixed is located. However, from the relationship between gravity and centrifugal force, the following formula 1: % formula % () W: Vector of gravity (kg) Day: Vector of centrifugal force (kg) It solidifies with an inclination of 0 degrees, and in that state. There is also a drawback that a fixing member is formed and the hollow fiber cannot be properly fixed by the fixing member.

The inclination (θ) of the end face on the rotation center axis side of such a fixed member
To make it as small as possible, increase the rotation speed of the rotor and increase the centrifugal force, but this requires further increasing the strength of the machine, and if too much centrifugal force is applied, the The raw material resin easily enters the interior of the hollow fibers, and the raw material resin that can be used is limited.

In particular, the fixing jig used in the present invention has a resin reservoir part,
They are provided independently in close proximity to the ends of the hollow fiber bundles to be fixed, and therefore, in snowmaking using the conventional method, the ends of the hollow fiber bundles to be fixed from the resin container are In contrast, in the method of the present invention, it is extremely difficult to supply a fixed amount of liquid raw material resin to each of the hollow fiber bundle ends from a pair of independent resin reservoirs provided at the ends of the hollow fiber bundle. It is possible to constantly supply a predetermined amount of liquid raw material resin, and resin fixation can be carried out with high precision. In addition, since the distance between the resin reservoir and the end of the hollow fiber bundle to be fixed is extremely shortened, the resin is solidified in the small hole that communicates between the resin reservoir and the case mounting part. The amount of residual resin is also extremely small, and the method of the present invention allows efficient use of the raw material resin for forming the fixing member.

Moreover, the small hole for supplying the raw material resin is short and has a relatively simple shape, and moreover, the small hole surface is preferably made of a material with good peelability, so that it solidifies inside the small hole. The fixing jig can be reused by simply pulling out the residual resin from inside the fixing jig using a tool such as a bench, which greatly simplifies the work for reusing the device. In addition, pipes for supplying raw material resin are no longer disposable as in the conventional method.

Furthermore, the end face of the fixing member facing the center of rotation during centrifugal processing is formed perpendicular to the direction in which the neutral system is arranged, so that the hollow fibers can be well held and fixed within the case.
