DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to an asphalt sheet that can be used for multiple purposes such as civil engineering and construction, and in particular, a relatively thick and bulky nonwoven fabric sheet is impregnated with asphalt in half of its thickness. The present invention relates to an asphalt sheet in which the remaining half is hollow and the surface of the unimpregnated portion is coated with asphalt to form a film.

For this reason, conventional asphalt roofing has a thickness of around 1 mm, and although it has some tensile strength, when used for waterproofing the roof of a building, it is difficult to prevent cracks that occur in the underlying concrete. The concrete layer was unable to keep up with the blistering phenomenon caused by water vapor pressure, resulting in ruptures and water leaks. For this reason, it is common practice to construct asphalt roofing by laminating two or three layers together, but no appropriate treatment has been taken to prevent the sheet from blistering and peeling due to the water vapor pressure emitted from the concrete layer. do not have. In addition, when used for waterproofing construction on the slope of an embankment or the bottom of a reservoir for civil engineering, the slope may collapse due to spring water from the underground layer of the sheet, causing blisters and causing the sheet to become unusable. There was a risk of embrittlement.

The asphalt sheet of the present invention is a comparatively thick and bulky non-woven fabric, with half of the thickness of the base material impregnated with asphalt, and the remaining part left unimpregnated with asphalt in the form of a blank cavity.
This surface is coated with asphalt, leaving an unimpregnated layer, and this unimpregnated asphalt layer has sufficient air permeability to prevent evaporated moisture generated from the base concrete. This unimpregnated cavity absorbs gushing water and underground water and allows it to escape to the other side, preventing embrittlement caused by peeling of the waterproof layer caused by blistering, which occurs with conventional waterproof sheets, and completely prevents the water from becoming brittle. It achieves the purpose of waterproofing.

To explain the asphalt sheet of the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 shows a cross-sectional view of the asphalt sheet of the present invention, and in the figure, 1 is a sheet of suitable thickness obtained by needle punching in which long fibers of synthetic fibers are randomly entangled. In the present invention, half of the thickness of the nonwoven fabric base material 1 is impregnated with asphalt 3 from one side, and the remaining half is made into a hollow part 2 not impregnated with asphalt. The surface of the shaped part 2 is coated with asphalt to provide a film 4,
The cross section of this sheet has a three-layer structure: an asphalt-impregnated layer 3, an asphalt-unimpregnated cavity layer 2, and an asphalt coating layer 4, and the unimpregnated cavity 2 provides ventilation and water permeability. It is something that makes you

The nonwoven fabric used in the present invention is an endless long fiber of synthetic fibers such as polyurethane and polypropylene, and the thickness of the base material itself is suitably about 4 to 6 mm.As the asphalt for impregnation and film formation, blown asphalt, rubber asphalt,
Any modified asphalt may be used, and since this asphalt sheet has a sufficiently thick asphalt layer, it can be used as a single-layer waterproofing construction for rooftops and the like.

The asphalt sheet of the present invention is made by impregnating half of the thickness of a relatively thick and bulky nonwoven fabric base material with asphalt, leaving the other half unimpregnated in the form of voids, and coating the surface with an asphalt coating film. Therefore, when used as a waterproof sheet as is, this cavity-like part becomes a ventilation layer and when used as a waterproof sheet for a building structure, it allows water vapor generated from the underlying concrete layer to escape laterally to the side where it is pasted. Therefore, it can prevent the waterproof layer from blistering, or when used for waterproofing the slope of an embankment or a reservoir, it can move the gushing groundwater downward, preventing the collapse of the soil on the slope surface and preventing the sheet from blistering. Not only can it be used for multiple purposes as it can be used as an asphalt sheet according to each purpose, but since the nonwoven fabric base material is made of long synthetic fibers randomly intertwined, it has particularly strong properties against tensile breakage. It has a revolutionary use effect compared to conventional asphalt roofing.
