For this reason, even if the synthetic resin filament canvas is relatively stain-resistant, the canvas often gets dirty due to the raw materials (adhesion of gum and pitch).
As this contamination progresses and the amount of accumulated paper increases, a situation arises in which the nine sheets of paper are unevenly pressed onto the dry roll, resulting in uneven drying.

[I When impurities adhere to the weave, the adhesion of impurities spreads from the adhering area, eventually causing uneven ventilation and abnormal marks due to the adhering impurities, and after that it becomes especially difficult to remove the adhering impurities. This can be improved to some extent by coating the surface with a fluororesin as seen in Publication No. 984, but as is well known, paper dryer canvases are used in harsh environments where heat and water vapor coexist. Therefore, when the antifouling resin is first applied, it exhibits a considerable antifouling effect, but the antifouling effect deteriorates over time.

It has poor durability, and wear on the second surface progresses quickly, and when the first surface wears out, stains suddenly become noticeable.

In the multi-spiral papermaking canvas as shown in the above publication, the coiled spiral filaments are preferably formed of fluorine-containing resin monofilament.

。(Effects of the Invention) As described above, the dryer canvas for papermaking according to the present invention has 3 to 7 yarns forming the canvas surface and extending in the warp direction.
Since it is made of synthetic resin monofilaments containing fluororesin in the weight percent, the canvas has stain resistance while maintaining sufficient tensile strength as a dryer canvas. This antifouling property lasts for a much longer period of time than canvas that has been treated with conventional antifouling treatments. Therefore, various troubles caused by impurity adhesion in the dryer part of the paper machine can be eliminated, and the cleaning cycle of the canvas can be significantly extended5.
It greatly contributes to maintaining paper quality and improving productivity.
