Conventionally, marking pens have a fibrous body impregnated with water-based or oil-based ink to form an ink holder, and this ink holder is housed in a cylindrical metal or plastic container, with the tip of the writing core attached to the outside of the container. It is common that the writing core protrudes from the writing core and the other end is inserted into the ink holder so that the ink inside the ink holder is sucked and supplied from the other end of the writing core to the tip. However, the ink holder is constructed by wrapping a fibrous body with a thin film of cellophane, polyester, etc. with a flat surface, while the cylindrical container has a cylindrical container with a thin film for screwing or tightening the inner lid for holding the core. The inner walls of the container were not always uniformly parallel due to the presence of a constricted neck or, if the container was made of plastic, a molding taper. As a result, it is not easy to assemble the holder into the container, and even after assembly, a gap remains between the ink holder and the inner wall of the container, which not only raises concerns about the stability of the ink holder, but also prevents the ink holder from being shaken. There were problems such as making a noise and loosening the joint between the writing core and the ink holder, which caused inconvenience in writing.

The present invention was devised in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a marking pen that facilitates insertion and assembly of an ink holder into a container and improves the stability of the ink holder after assembly. It is in.

In order to achieve this purpose, the present invention incorporates an ink retainer made of a fibrous body impregnated with ink in a cylindrical container, and protrudes the tip of the writing core from the container to the outside. In the marking pen, the other end of the ink holder is inserted into the ink holder so that the ink inside the ink holder is sucked and supplied from the other end of the writing core to the tip. A marking pen is proposed which is characterized in that a fibrous body is surrounded by an outer sheath that is folded or serrated in the circumferential direction in a vertical cross section. As such an outer covering, for example, a thin film with corrugated pleats or gears extending in the axial direction, or a fiber is fed into the passage of a mold and the outer surface of the resin is coated with resin in the axial direction. A conceivable example is one in which an elastic protrusion is integrally formed.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to embodiments shown in the drawings. In FIG. 1, a cylindrical container 1 is molded from aluminum, and has a drawing thread 1a formed at one end to which an inner lid 3 for holding a writing core 2 is screwed and fastened; Other end 1
b is closed. The diameter B of the neck of the container 1, that is, the opening of the restricting thread 1a (shown in cross-section in FIG. 3) is smaller than the diameter A of the inner wall of the cylindrical portion of the container 1 (shown in cross-section in FIG. 4). As shown in FIG.
It is constructed by surrounding it with a thin film 6 having corrugated pleats or serrations extending in the axial direction. Such a thin film 6 is obtained by heating a flat thermoplastic resin film such as cellophane or polyester to form corrugated folds or serrations in advance, and wrapping the fibrous body 5 so that the wavy folds or serrations are in the axial direction. As shown in FIG. 2, a rod-shaped ink holder 4 may be used. The ink holder 4 thus produced has an outer diameter at the top of the corrugated folds or gears of the thin film 6 that is slightly larger than the inner diameter A of the cylindrical portion of the container, and a diameter at the trough than the diameter B of the neck opening. It is convenient to make it a little smaller.
Then, the fibrous body 5 is impregnated with water-based or oil-based ink.

To insert the ink holder 4 as shown in Figure 2 into the aluminum container 1, the folds or gears are compressed by elastic deformation to reduce the outer diameter of the ink holder 4 and then it is inserted into the neck opening of the container 1 (Figure 3). After the insertion is complete, the folds or gears of the ink holder 4 return to their original shape by elastic deformation on the cylindrical inner wall of the container 1, and the peaks of these folds or gears come into contact with the cylindrical inner wall of the container 1, so that the ink holder 4 is stably held within the container 1.

Thereafter, a writing core 2 made of acrylic fiber or felt is inserted into the container 1 through the neck opening and inserted into the fibrous body 5. At the same time, the inner lid 3 is screwed and fastened to the neck 1a of the container 1, and the writing core 2 is held. In this case, the tip of the writing core 2 protrudes from the inner lid 3, and this tip becomes the writing portion. As ink is supplied to the writing object as it is written with this tip writing section, the core body 2 becomes a negative pressure and the ink inside the fiber body 5 is sucked and supplied to the tip writing section of the core body 2 due to capillary action. It is something to do.

FIG. 5 shows a tapered container 1' made of plastic. In plastic injection molding, it is generally difficult to obtain a cylindrical molded product with completely parallel inner walls when the molded product is pulled out of the mold. Therefore, the lid 8 provided at the rear of the tapered container 1' as shown in FIG. 5 is removed, and the ink holder 4 as shown in FIG. 2 is inserted from this part in the same manner as described above.

As described above, in the present invention, the ink holder 4 can be easily inserted and assembled into the container 1 due to the expansion and contraction action of the wavy folds or gears of the thin film 6 of the ink holder 4, and the folds or gears can be easily inserted and assembled after insertion. The outer periphery of is in close contact with the inner wall of the container throughout its length,
The ink holder 4 is stably held within the container 1,
Even when this marking pen is shaken, no sound is generated, and there is no possibility that the looseness of the joint 10 (FIG. 1) between the core body 2 and the fiber body 5 will cause any inconvenience in writing. Furthermore, since gaps are left in the outer circumference of the ink holder 4 due to the pleats or gears, air or gas pressure may not flow inside the container due to negative pressure in the core 2 or changes in internal pressure due to temperature changes. It's done smoothly.
