Generally, this type of toilet seat cover is made by sewing and sealing both ends of a cylindrical knitted elastic cylindrical fabric.
A device in which a notch of a required length is formed in the peripheral wall of the intermediate portion and an elastic material is sewn along the periphery of the temple notch to form an opening is widely used. However, such a toilet seat cover requires many sewing steps, and there are also problems such as a lot of manual work such as cutting to form an opening or sewing an elastic material to the opening.

For this reason, in recent years, a toilet seat cover as shown in FIG. 5 has been proposed (Utility Model Application No. 111300/1983).

This toilet seat cover is made by, for example, knitting about 10 courses flat with short ta fiber yarn on the front side and long fiber yarn on the back side, knitting a linking line 3i, then switching to pile knitting, reducing this, knitting, and increasing the number of stitches. The tip part 31 is knitted into a curved surface using eye knitting, so-called toe knitting, and then the cover main body 30 is knitted by bag knitting with pile knitting. When the length is 4Qcm and the border is reached, how can the continuation < 20CI11 be? Use the space between the two to draw the needle to form the cutting line. This cutting line becomes an opening 36 for attachment and detachment. After forming the cutting line, knit the bag again to make the main cover 30
The right end 32 in FIG. 1 is knitted by 40 em back knitting, and then the right end 32 in FIG. 1 is knitted by reducing stitches and widening stitches, so-called toe knitting, and a linking line 34r'tea is formed by flat knitting of about 10 courses. After this knitting is completed, the linking line 341° 34r and the cover main body 30 are sewn together using an overlock sewing machine, and the cutting line formed at the center of the cover main body 30 is cut with scissors or the like to form an opening 36. .

However, in the conventional method as described above, it is necessary to form linking lines 34° and 34r at both ends, to sew the opening 36 with an overlock sewing machine, and to cut along the cutting line, which poses problems in terms of manufacturing efficiency. Moreover, due to the structure, there were problems such as the opening 36 being weak and easily broken.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The present invention will be specifically described below based on drawings showing embodiments thereof. FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of a toilet seat cover according to the present invention (hereinafter referred to as the product of the present invention), and in the figure, 1 and 2 are leg parts to be placed over the legs 11 and 12 of the toilet seat 10 (see Figures 3 and 4); indicates the annular portion, and 4 indicates the apical edge.

The leg portions 1.2 are made of knitted fabric and are formed into a cylindrical shape, with the tip portions being knitted with a slight roundness, and the base ends having the required spacing between them when both leg portions 1.2 are pressed together. The annular portion 3 is knitted by connecting the proximal end peripheral walls to form an integral annular shape while remaining in a parallel state with the two portions separated from each other. This annular portion 3 is subsequently provided with an elastic annular edge 4 having greater elasticity than this annular portion 3.
It is organized.

Figures 2 (a) to (b) are explanatory diagrams showing the manufacturing process of the product of the present invention, and Figures 3 (a) to (d) show knitting modes. First, as shown in Figure 2 (A) and Figure 3 (A), (to start knitting, use the latch needles Nf and Nb of the front needle bed F and rear needle bed B of the parallel horizontal machine, respectively, to move the latch of the front needle bed F. This is done by so-called rubber knitting in which the yarn is alternately passed through needles Nf and latch needles Nb on the rear needle bed B. The length of this rubber knitting is made equal to the length of the arcuate portions at the lower ends of the legs 1 and 2.

Next, as shown in Fig. 3 (B), on the return trip, the needle moves from the right side to the left side using only the latch needle Nb of the rear needle bed B, and on the outward trip, it moves from the right side to the left side using only the latch needle Nf of the front needle bed F. Move forward from the left side to the right side and repeat this sequentially to perform bag knitting, but during this time, add the required number of stitches on each of the forward and return passes to form the tip of the leg 1.2 into a smooth arc shape. FIG. 3(C) is an explanatory diagram showing the manner of knitting a bag jacquard. For example, when using one ground thread and one colored thread, the ground thread a can be placed on either the front needle bed F or the back needle bed B. latch needle N
Knitting is done by hooking every two needles f and Nb onto three needles, and similarly threading the colored thread C onto two needles every third between latch needles Nf and Nb. This knitting method is not particularly limited, and may be set appropriately depending on the type of pattern, for example. When you have finished knitting the legs 1゜2 to the required length, the third
The front needle bed F and the rear needle bed B extend between the inner edges 1i and 2i of the legs 1 and 2 in the pressed and folded state that have been knitted in parallel as shown in Figures (c) and 2 (c). Perform rubber knitting similar to that shown in Figure 3 (a) using each latch needle Nf and Nb,
Thereafter, bag knitting or bag jacquard knitting is performed over the outer edges 1o, 2o of the leg portion 1.2 in the pressed and folded state in the same manner as shown in FIG. 3(b) or (a). This bag knitting is performed over the range connecting the pressed and folded outer edges 1o and 2a of both legs 1.2 which have been knitted in parallel. After completing the required course formation of the annular portion 3, the annular portion 3 is
Bag knitting is performed on the elastic ring edge 4 over the entire circumference using two threads, the base thread and the rubber thread.

In addition, in the above-mentioned embodiment, the annular part 3 was constructed by connecting the outer end lines 1o and 2a in the pressed and folded state from the beginning.
The stitches are increased sequentially from the side of each leg 1.2 to the opposite side, and from the time when the thread is passed through approximately the middle of both legs 1.2, the outer edge lines 1o, 2

In the present invention as described above, both legs are knitted parallel to each other at a predetermined interval, so when the legs are placed over the legs of a U-shaped toilet seat, the base ends of the legs are torn even if the legs are opened wide. The present invention has the following advantages: there is no risk of breakage, and although the knitting mode is different, the whole can be connected and knitted on a knitting machine, requiring almost no manpower, resulting in significant labor savings. It has excellent effects.
