Abstract

PURPOSE:A partial pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet having a releasable part and a nonreleasable part of pressure-sensitive adhesive, by subjecting a release face of a silicone resin layer set on the whole face of substrate to corona discharge treatment so that releasability of release face is partially broken. CONSTITUTION:In a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet comprising a substrate sheet, a pressure-sensitive adhesive and a release sheet, corona discharge treatment (e.g. spark gap method, etc.) is carried out on a release face of a silicone resin layer set on the whole face of substrate of the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet, releasability of the release face is partially broken and a releasable part and a nonreleasable part of the pressure-sensitive adhesive are provided to give the aimed partial pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet.

Generally, release sheets used for adhesive processing are manufactured by applying a release resin such as silicone resin or polyester resin to the entire surface of a support and drying it. For example, when the adhesive sheet is produced by a transfer method, an adhesive is applied to the release sheet obtained in this way, and after drying, a base sheet such as paper, film, foil, woven fabric, non-woven fabric, etc. is laminated. It is created by tJi. The pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet thus produced is flattened or rolled into an appropriate size and subjected to processing such as printing, overlaying, half-cutting, lees removal, and guillotine, and is then used as a product.

When in use, the release sheet is peeled off from the dead surface of the base sheet and discarded, but it is necessary that the entire surface be peeled off cleanly from the adhesive surface, so it is common for the release sheet to be completely coated with a release resin. be.

In order to manufacture a partial release sheet using a conventional method, for example, a gravure roll used for applying silicone resin is engraved to create an engraved part and a non-engraved part, and the silicone resin is applied using the gravure roll. Manufacturing methods can be considered. However, when glassine paper is used as a support for a release sheet, if silicone resin is partially applied using a gravure roll, it is necessary to apply curl prevention treatment to the back side of the glassine paper after applying the silicone resin to the cloth. There is a difference in the amount of anti-curl liquid absorbed between the resin coated area and the uncoated area, making it difficult to finish both the silicone resin coated area and the uncoated area flat at the same time.
The disadvantage is that the partially released sheet has unevenness and cannot be used. In the present invention, since the entire surface of the support is coated with silicone resin, no unevenness occurs at all.

Corona discharge occurs between an insulated metal electrode and a grounded H
This is generated by applying a high voltage between the silicone resin release sheet and the dielectric roll.By passing the silicone resin release sheet through the interlock between the metal electrode and the dielectric roll, the release surface of the silicone resin layer is exposed to corona discharge. It is processed.

There are two types of fi poles: a variable type that can change the length of the electrode when the width of the silicone resin release sheet changes, and a fixed length type that is used when the width is constant. There are electrodes in one row and electrodes in multiple rows of two or more, and in the present invention, any of the electrodes may be used.

The electrode used in the present invention has a part that emits corona discharge and a part that does not discharge corona, and when using a variable electrode, attach the electrodes of the required length to the electrode set rod at intervals. That's fine. The width of the electrode can be set so as to obtain the desired width. Further, in the case of a fixed electrode, the electrode may be removed by cutting an appropriate length so as to obtain a portion that does not cause corona discharge.

By partially subjecting the silicone resin release sheet to corona discharge treatment in the manner described above, a partial release sheet can be obtained. That is, the part of the silicone resin release sheet that has been subjected to the corona discharge treatment has the releasability of the silicone resin destroyed, and when an adhesive is applied thereto, it cannot be easily peeled off and adheres to the part. In addition, the original releasability of the silicone resin is maintained in the area that is not subjected to the corona discharge treatment, and when an adhesive is applied, it can be easily peeled off. In such a partially peelable sheet, the width and interval between the peeled portion and the non-peeled λ1 portion can be easily changed by selecting electrodes.
