層を設けた磁気カードの記録再生装置に関し、特
に、該磁気記録用磁性層の上を低保磁力の磁性膜

最近、磁気カードの記録用磁性層の上を低保磁
力の磁性層で被覆し、通常の磁気記録再生装置で

を保護するようにした磁気カードが提案された。

磁性層を有する磁気カードへの情報の記録および
再生には当然のことながら、従来の一般の磁気ヘ
ツドを用いては不可能で、このような磁気カード
とともに提案された特殊な磁気ヘツドを用いた磁
気記録再生装置が必要である。即ち、第１図を参
照して、従来公知の情報記録用ヘツド部１と情報
再生用ヘツド部２を備えた記録再生用ヘツド３に
磁気バイアス用ヘツド４をそのギヤツプが記録再
生ヘツドのギヤツプと直交するようにして重ね合
せた磁気ヘツドを用い、磁気カード５の磁性層が
両ヘツド３，４のギヤツプ面に接触して通過する

用磁性層５ｂとからなる複合磁気記録媒体５を備
えた磁気カード８が通過し得る構造となつてい

結果、記録再生用ヘツド６で情報記録用磁性層に

なお、情報記録用磁性層５ａは保磁力が大きいた
め該バイアス磁界の影響を受けない。バイアス磁
界が除去されると、記録内容保護用磁性層５ｂは

過させる微小間隔をもつて、対向するように配置
されるとともに、上記磁気バイアス用ヘツドのギ
ヤツプが上記情報記録用ヘツドのギヤツプと直交
するように配置されていることを特徴とする磁気
