【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案はベアリングキヤツプの側部に垂設され
たリブ間に補強ステーを跨設することを基本とし
てレシプロ機関の振動を抑止しうるレシプロ機関
のシリンダブロツクに関する。

の軽量化のために、シリンダブロツクを薄肉化す
るに従がい増大する。かかる問題を解決するた
め、例えば第8図に示すごとき、ベアリングキヤ
ツプの取付部dと、シリンダブロツクeのスカー
ト部fとを、別個もしくは一体に形成した補強ス
テーgにより結合する装置が特開昭53−60416号
公報により提案されているが、このものは、ベア
リングキヤツプの取付部dとスカート部fとを同
時に固定するために、極めて高い加工精度が要求
され又組立に多大の工数を要する他、その実施例
図に明示するごとくスカート部fに取付ボルト挿
通用の、外部に通じる側孔を設け取付けるもので
あるため、油洩れを完全には防止しえない。さら
に実開昭52−151221号公報は、シリンダブロツク
eの剛性を向上する他の構造を開示している(第
9図に示す)。しかし該公報で開示するものは、
ベアリング交換のためにスカート部fに開口せし
めた点検窓hによる剛性の劣化を補なうことを目
的とし、従つて補強ステーgはベアリングキヤツ
プiの下方ではなくて、ベアリングキヤツプi間
のクランクケースを跨架するごとく取付けられ、
そのために、シリンダブロツクe自体の下端に比
較的長い内フランジjを設けるとともに、バラン
スウエイト等との衝合防止のためスカート部fを
ベアリング軸芯の下方に延長する必要があり、そ
の結果シリンダブロツクの重量が著増し又所要の
オイルパンを取付ける際にはエンジン全高は大と
ならざるをえなかつた。

内厚部15が形成されている。なお取付面14、
従つて肉厚部15の厚さは、第1図からわかるよ
うに、前記取付部10a〜10eと略同巾に形成
される。又スカート部5はベアリングキヤツプ1
3a〜13eの最下端から下方に突出するととも
に、リブ12の取付面14にはその対向端縁近傍
に螺孔19が穿孔され該螺孔19を用いて鋼製の
寸切材からなる補強ステー20がベアリングキヤ
ツプ13a〜13e下方を通り取付面14,14
間で固定される。なおスカート部5下端にはオイ
ルパン16取付用の外フランジ17が設けられ
る。
