In refrigerated and refrigerated warehouses where cargo handling is done manually, the height limit for cargo handling is generally around 1.5m.
Capacity per unit area is small. In addition, there are problems in that the worker must work inside the refrigerator, and this work is extremely demanding because it involves manual labor at low temperatures. In refrigerated and refrigerated warehouses where cargo is handled using forklifts, the height limit for cargo handling is generally limited to about 3 to 4m depending on the lift height of the forklift, and the storage capacity per unit area is not that large. Furthermore, there are other problems, such as the need for a worker to operate a forklift inside the warehouse, and the risk of cargo falling apart. Refrigerated and refrigerated warehouses that use Statzker cranes for cargo handling are quite large, so-called automated warehouses, and are advantageous in that they can accommodate a large amount of storage per unit area. It is unsuitable for use as a

問題もある。 Furthermore, all of these conventional refrigerated and refrigerated warehouses are designed to cool the entire interior space of the warehouse building, and are designed to actually cool the entire interior space. Therefore, the larger the size, the greater the cooling capacity, and the need for constant cooling. This is because the temperature inside the warehouse must be maintained regardless of the amount of goods to be frozen and refrigerated stored in the warehouse. For this reason, power consumption increases, which is a problem that is not desirable in terms of energy saving, which has recently been highlighted.

As schematically shown in this refrigerated warehouse 1, a large number of containers 3 are housed inside a warehouse body 2, and these containers 3 are arranged to circulate along guide rails 4 provided in the warehouse body 2. ing. More specifically, carriers 5 are connected and arranged at appropriate intervals along the guide rail 4.
Container 3 is now carried on the
The carrier 5 is suspended by its own weight from a guide roller support 6 that engages with the guide rail 4 by a suspension support 7. Further, although this guide roller support body 6 is not shown, movement in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction along the guide rail 4 is automatically controlled by an appropriate drive device, and the movement of the guide roller support body 6 in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction along the guide rail 4 is automatically controlled.
is located at the entrance/exit 8 of the warehouse main body 2. Such an automatic transport device that controls the movement of the container 3 is used in, for example, high-rise parking lots, and is well known, so it will not be described in detail.

This container 3 has a sufficiently large heat-insulating door 10 on one side, and each container 3 is equipped with a cooling device 11. This cooling device 11 has the ability to maintain the inside of the container 3 at a freezing or refrigeration temperature, and the cooling device 1 is provided above the door 10 as a switch means.
The temperature inside the refrigerator can be arbitrarily set using a switch 12. Note that the switch 12 may be placed on the side or below the container entrance. Also,
A bottom plate 14 such as a suitable cage is provided to facilitate the operation of taking in and out the articles 13 stored inside the container 3.

This structure is known as a current collector, in which a rail 14 on the power supply side is fixedly provided along the guide rail 4 by an insulator 15, and is integrated with each container 3, that is, the roller support 6. A current collector body 16 is slidingly attached to the guide rail 4 for movement along the guide rail 4, and contacts housed in an insulator 17 fixed to the current collector body 16 The child 18 is always kept in sliding contact with the rail 14 by a spring 19. For this contactor 18, the cooling device 1 of the container 3
1 are electrically connected by known means. Of course, a removable connection device (not shown) is interposed in this connection line, so that the container 3 itself can be taken out of the warehouse main body 2.

At this time, the switch 12 is set to the desired temperature for freezing or refrigeration. Of course, if this is not necessary, you can turn it off and store it at room temperature without the cooling device operating. Thereafter, the automatic transport device is controlled and the empty container 3 is moved to the entrance/exit 8 to prepare for the next storage. Further, when taking out stored articles, the desired container 3 is moved to the entrance/exit 8.

The container 3 itself can also be moved in and out of the warehouse body 2. In this case, this can be easily accomplished by disconnecting the aforementioned removable connection device. Furthermore, if there is no need to take the container 3 in and out, many structural changes are possible, such as making the container 3 and carrier 5 into an integral structure. Furthermore, instead of operating the switch 12, it is also possible to automatically control this.

By selectively cooling each container using the cooling device of each container, the contents stored inside the container are properly cooled and refrigerated. Therefore, there is no need to cool the entire space inside the refrigerator, and there are fewer breakdowns and complications. It is extremely economical and has practical advantages, as it does not require extensive piping, allows quick loading and unloading of stored items, and can be easily built into high-rise buildings even in narrow spaces, increasing the storage capacity per unit area.
