Laser light, which has excellent focusing properties and a high degree of energy concentration per unit area, is also used as a therapeutic device, and has been widely put into practical use, for example, for the treatment of detached retina of an eyeball, or for incision or hemostasis in surgical operations. As another application, it is used as a skin bruising device to remove naturally occurring birthmarks by performing ablation treatment on a predetermined portion of living tissue.

However, in conventional irradiation devices using this type of laser light, if the laser light is irradiated to areas other than the desired affected area, it will cause major damage to living tissues, especially when treating bruises on the skin. However, if laser light is applied to areas other than bruises, it will cause damage to normal tissues. For this,
In the past, the scanning control of laser light emitted by skilled doctors was strictly controlled.
As a result, the treatment time is prolonged, and even when operated by such a skilled person, the laser beam often irradiates areas other than the necessary areas, resulting in damage to normal living tissue.

The figure shows a preferred embodiment of a laser irradiation device 12 that irradiates laser light to a bruise 10 as an affected area requiring treatment, and the laser irradiation device 12 has a laser irradiation section 14 that includes a laser light source and a control device. Laser light 1 irradiated from the laser irradiation unit 14
00 is reflected by the scanning mirror 16 and guided to the laser irradiation point 100a on the birthmark 10, the birthmark tissue in that area is burned away, and the birthmark 10 can be treated by regenerating new skin tissue. The scanning mirror 16
is rotationally controlled in the direction of arrow AB by a scanning mechanism (not shown), and can scan the laser beam 100 in accordance with the bruise 10. In the embodiment,
This scanning control can be performed in a manner similar to the standard television scanning method, in which return scanning is performed in a short time, and as a result, ablation treatment of bruise tissue can be performed only during scanning in one direction. In the figure, a laser beam 10 is mechanically rotated and scanned by a scanning mirror 16.
The scanning of 0 is done in the x direction, with this
The laser irradiation device 12 is scan-controlled in the y direction by a moving device (not shown), and as a result, the laser beam 1
00 can scan the surface of the birthmark 10 along the xy plane, and can burn away the birthmark tissue to the required state.

The characteristic feature of the present invention is that data detects treatment data according to the characteristics of the affected area just before the front in the scanning direction (x direction) of the laser beam 100 described above, that is, the characteristics of each part of the birthmark 10 in the embodiment. A detector is provided,
The data detector in the embodiment is the laser irradiation device 1
It is formed from a photodetector 20 provided in 2. The photodetector 20 irradiates a detection point 200a in front of the scanning direction of the laser beam 100 with detection light,
Treatment data for the affected area, that is, data such as the color or density of the birthmark 10 in the embodiment, is detected by the reflected light. For this purpose, for example, the photodetector 20 electrically detects the light intensity at the detection point 200a. It outputs an electrical signal corresponding to the intensity of light received by the light receiving unit due to the reflected light 200.

The electrical output signal of the photodetector 20 is supplied to the control device of the laser irradiation unit 14, and the laser light 100 from the laser light source is output according to the detected treatment data.
It is possible to adjust and control the irradiation conditions of laser beam 1 with the optimal irradiation conditions for a new laser irradiation point.
00 can be supplied. Also, 200 detection points
When a is removed from the bruise 10, which is the affected area, the scanning of the laser beam 100 is controlled to stop, and as a result, it is possible to reliably prevent laser beam irradiation outside the predetermined affected area.

As described above, according to the present invention, by detecting treatment data of an affected area in a fixed positional relationship with the laser beam irradiation position for treatment, adjustment of laser beam irradiation conditions and laser beam scanning control can be performed efficiently. Since the laser treatment can be performed well, the treatment can be performed accurately and quickly without requiring special skill on the part of the operator, and it is possible to provide a laser treatment device that does not cause erroneous treatment.
