PURPOSE:To perform an automatic sensing of an ignition condition and shut off a supplying of gas by a method wherein an infra-red ray sensor for sensing an infra-red ray during combustion and automatic gas supplying control means for stopping a flowing-out of gas when no infra-red ray is detected are provided. CONSTITUTION:Both gas passages 9 and 11 are provided with electromagnetic valves 12, 13 and a sequencer 14 constituting an automatic gas supplying control device, and the electromagnetic valves 12 and 13 are operated in their opening or closing operation by a sequencer 14. As a sensed signal from an infra-red ray sensor 5 is stopped for a specified period of time, the sequencer 14 may operate both electromagnetic valves 12 and 13 to their closed sides.
