Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable stable printing to be performed irrespective of the thickness of an envelope, and the presence of a content in the envelope or the like, by providing a platen at a printing part with left and right side boats independently suspended. CONSTITUTION:Ski form side boats 11 are positioned relative to a platen shaft 12 through bearings 13, and are independently suspended on the left and right sides, respectiely. Relative positions of a stroke of a stamp 5 and a mask 8 is maintained by a pinch roller 7. A contact point (a) of an envelope 1 and the side boat 11 and a contact point a' of the side boat 11 and a feeding guide 9 are changed according to the feeding condition of the envelope 1, so that an excessive pressure is prevented from being exerted on the envelope 1, and an unnecessary operation of an envelope-sealing part T can be controlled. Since the side boats 11 are suspended independently on the left and right sides, the pressing of the envelope can be adjusted according to irregular deformations of the envelope 1 due to irregular shapes of the content B of the envelope. Accordingly, normal printing free of voids in printed images or blurring can be constantly performed.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Summary] This is a stamp printing device, and by providing independently suspended side boats on the left and right sides of the platen of the printing section, the wall thickness of the bag-like medium, the presence of contents in the bag-like medium, etc. can be adjusted. This enables stable printing without being affected.

For example, devices that print stamps on envelopes include banknotes, stamps, etc.
There are envelope deposit machines that deposit receipts, securities, etc. In this case, an envelope containing banknotes or the like is inserted into an envelope deposit machine, and the printer section of the deposit machine prints the date, account number, password, etc. on the envelope, and the envelope is stored in a safe located at the bottom.

The thickness and shape of the envelope vary depending on the contents enclosed within the envelope, resulting in irregular deformation of the envelope. Also, because the envelope has binding sections on both ends, the envelope sent to the printing section is deformed, and the printing surface of the envelope becomes distorted and cannot be printed correctly.
Printing may be chipped or faded. Therefore, there is a need for a stamp printing device that can prevent distortion of the printing surface of envelopes and perform normal printing.

FIG. 3(a) shows the printing section of the envelope deposit machine, and 1 is an envelope containing, for example, banknotes B as contents. A fixed roller 2 is rotated by the transport envelope, and a movable roller 3 is configured to be movable up and down, and is constantly pressed against the envelope 1 by a spring (not shown) and further rotated. 4 is a platen, which, like the movable roller 3, constantly moves envelopes 1;
is pressed and further rotated to receive the printing pressure of the stamp. 5 is a stamp, which has type 6 for printing on the circumference, and prints by moving in the vertical direction. A fixed pinch roller 7 is provided to ensure the relative position between the stamp stroke for printing and the mask 8 for masking all but necessary characters, and to carry out smooth envelope conveyance. Note that only one side of the mask 8 is fixed to the conveyance guide 9.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] In stamp printing, the envelope 1 is conveyed from A to A' direction by a conveyance roller 2.3 as shown in FIG. rotates as necessary and moves up and down, so that the type 6 of the stamp 5 hits the envelope 1 and prints. However, when the positional relationship between the envelope 1 and the stamp 6 is behind the L-L plane, missing or blurred characters occur.

これは以下のようなメカニズムで発生する。This occurs through the following mechanism.

As shown in FIG. 3(b), when the platen pressurization P1 and the stamp pressing pressure P2 act on the envelope 1 in the printing section, the solid line a-b-c of the envelope 1 changes to the dotted line a-b'.
- It deforms irregularly as shown in c.

This irregular deformation is due to the binding portions on both ends of envelope 1.
This occurs because the fixed pinch roller 7 facilitates this action. If the envelope is deformed in the form of dotted lines a-b'-c, even if the stamp 5 prints on the envelope, the envelope's printing surface will be distorted, so normal printing will not be possible.
There were problems such as missing prints and fading.

FIG. 1(B) shows the conveyance state of the envelope in the printing section, and shows the envelope l in the conveyance state and the side boat 11, where the pinch roller 7 ensures the relative position between the stroke of the stamp 5 and the mask 8. The contact point a and the contact point a' between the side boat 11 and the conveyance guide 9 change depending on the conveyance state of the envelope l (the shape of the envelope changes depending on the presence of contents). For that reason,
It is possible to avoid pressing the envelope more than necessary, and by receiving the envelope 1 on the side boat 11, the envelope binding part T can be avoided.
You can stop it from rising. As a result, the rigidity of the envelope 1 increases as unnecessary movements of the envelope binding portion T can be controlled, the printing surface Q becomes flat, and normal printing is performed by upward movement of the stamp 5.

In addition, since the side boat 11 is independently suspended on the left and right sides, the complicated shape and irregular deformation of the envelope 1 caused by unrestricted envelope contents B can be suppressed by the case and the pie case, resulting in chipping, etc. Normal printing without blurring is always possible.

At this time, since the side boats 11 are independently suspended on the left and right sides, the contact changes depending on the conveyance state of the envelope. As a result, unnecessary movement of the envelope binding portion is controlled, and printing can be performed on a surface with increased rigidity. Even if the contents of the envelope are irregularly deformed, the envelope can be pressed in by the case-pie-case, so normal printing without chipping or fading can be performed at all times.
