Generally, a conventional hot water boiler has a combustion chamber 24' inside a can body 1' as shown in FIG.
A burner 5' is inserted into a part of the combustion chamber 2.
A flue 25' for discharging combustion gas from the burner 5' to the outside is provided at the upper part of the burner 4', and a baffle plate 8' is inserted into the flue 25' to increase combustion efficiency. In such a configuration, the combustion noise generated from the burner 5' leaks to the outside from the burner 5' and through the openings of both the chimney (not shown) connected to the upper end of the flue 25', resulting in noise. It has become a problem as a pollution. Another type of improved hot water boiler is shown in FIG.

A combustion chamber 24' and a flue 25' are provided in the can body 1', and the combustion gas from the burner 5' flows into the combustion chamber 2.
4', makes a U-turn through the flue 25', and is discharged to the outside from the exhaust port 6'. In addition, can body 1' and exterior body 2
A heat insulating material 29' is provided between the heat insulating material 29' and the heat insulating material 29' to enhance the heat retention effect.

Even in this configuration, since the burner 5' protrudes to the outside, the problem of noise is not solved. Furthermore, since the high-temperature exhaust port 6' and the combustion chamber lid 27' are close to the blower section 17' of the burner 5' and the controller (not shown), the temperature of the electrical components increases, which may cause wire breakage in the motor. This is undesirable as it may cause malfunction etc.

The can body 1 has a water supply port 2 at the bottom and a hot water supply port 3 at the top, and is filled with water to be watertight.
A lateral opening 4 is provided at least at one location at the bottom of the opening 4, and within this opening 4, a combustion burner 5 and an exhaust port 6 for discharging combustion gas from the burner 5 to the outside through a flue 25 and a chimney 26 are provided. The combustion tube 7 provided therein is provided horizontally. Inside the combustion tube 7, a baffle plate 8 is installed to increase the efficiency of heat exchange between water and combustion gas.
It also has a built-in porous combustion gas purification plate 9. The flow of combustion gas is as shown by the arrows in FIG. Furthermore, a partition guide plate 10 is provided between the burner 5 and the combustion tube 7 in the opening 4 to prevent high-temperature combustion gas from flowing back into the burner 5. It also plays the role of supporting the tip 11 of the burner 5 and guiding it when inserting and withdrawing the burner 5. As shown in detail in FIGS. 3 and 4, the flame hole 12 of the burner 5, which becomes hot, and the vaporizing tube tip 13 are connected to the can body 1 of the opening 4 through the air portion 14.
It is located in the water jacket 15 section inside. In this embodiment, the air section 14 takes out a part of the combustion air of the burner 5 from the blow-off hole 16 and cools it, and further, this air flows through the gap between the partition guide plate 10 and the opening 4 and the tip of the burner, as shown by the arrow. Part 11
After passing through the gap between the and partition guide plate 10, the combustion tube 7
Flow to the side. In the above configuration, the high-temperature part of the burner 5 is located in the water jacket 15 inside the can body 1,
In addition, since it is attached to the can body 1 through the air section 14 of the opening 4 of the can body 1, the radiant heat from the high-temperature part is absorbed as effective heat by the water jacket part 15, and the motor 17 and the controller It is no longer radiated to the air portion 18 and is insulated by the air layer of the air portion 14. Moreover, the combustion noise from the flame port 12 is attenuated while passing through the air section 14. In particular, in this embodiment, since the air section 14 is cooled, the heat shielding effect is large, and it is possible to suppress the temperature rise of the blower motor 17 and the controller 18 to a low level.

In addition, since the burner lid 21 having the flange portion 20 for attaching the burner 5 to the can body 1 is screwed to the inlet portion of the opening 4 via the heat insulating packing 22, the above-mentioned sound insulation and heat insulation effects are further enhanced. By attaching the burner cover 23 that integrally covers the burner lid 21, the blower motor 17, and the controller 18, it has not only a sound insulation and heat insulation effect but also a waterproof effect.

As described above, according to the present invention, a burner and a combustion tube for discharging combustion gas from the burner are installed horizontally in an opening provided at the lower part of the can body, and the high-temperature part of the burner is connected to the can body at the opening. Because it is located in the internal water jacket, the radiant heat from the high-temperature part of the burner is absorbed by the water jacket as effective heat, and as a result, it is not radiated to the blower motor or controller. It is possible to suppress the temperature rise of
Combustion noise in the high-temperature part of the burner is also attenuated before reaching the opening, and it is possible to prevent it from going outside as a loud noise, and also to exhibit a heat shielding effect.
