【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) ドライブシヤフトパイプの先端部に作業手
段を回転自在に設け、この作業手段をエンジンの
駆動軸に連結したドライブシヤフトを介して高速
回転させる手持ち作業機において、ドライブシヤ
フトパイプおよびドライブシヤフトを軸方向に対
して夫々伸縮自在に形成すると共にドライブシヤ
フトパイプの所定個所に伸縮固定具を付設するこ
とを特徴とする手持ち作業機。 (2) ドライブシヤフトパイプを二重管で構成す
ると共にドライブシヤフトを少なくとも先端部に
異形断面連結部を有するエンジン側シヤフトと前
記連結部に装着される回転作業側シヤフト管とで
構成し、さらに前記二重管の連結部分に締付リン
グを付設することからなる実用新案登録請求の範
