In conventional packaging trays of this kind, the entire tray is wrapped in a stretch film, and on the back side of the tray, the films are overlapped in double or triple layers, and the self-adhesive properties of the film are used to seal the tray. . This would require a film with an area two to three times the opening area of the tray, which is extremely wasteful in today's world where resource conservation is a priority, and the overlapping portions would wrinkle. If the juice seeped out from this area and it got bad, the seal would come apart. Furthermore, since the packaging tray has films stacked on top of each other up to its back side, the work required is excessive, which is undesirable and leads to a decrease in efficiency.

In view of the above-mentioned drawbacks of conventional packaging trays, the present invention has been developed to improve and eliminate these drawbacks. In other words, regardless of the material of the tray, the film can be tightly and securely adhered to the packaging tray without wrinkles. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a packaging tray that can reduce the amount of food used, poses no problems in terms of food hygiene, has excellent workability and handling, and provides a packaging form that is good in appearance. .

These trays 1 are made of a variety of materials, ranging from those that exhibit some degree of adhesiveness to the stretch film (soft vinyl chloride) (PVC trays) to those that exhibit almost no adhesiveness (PE trays). Therefore, in the present invention, an adhesive 2 having good adhesion to the stretch film is applied to the substantially vertical adhesive application surface 1a or 1a' on the entire upper outer circumference of the peripheral wall 1c of the tray 1. In addition, this provides a strong packaging form.

There is no need to coat any part other than the outer peripheral surface. Even if it were applied, it would have little meaning in terms of effectiveness. The adhesive 2 to be applied has adhesive strength to the heated stretch film, does not cause food hygiene problems, can be applied well to the base material of the tray 1, and has good workability such as drying. Anything is fine.

That is, as shown in FIG. 7, when multiple trays 1 are stacked, the inner surface of the peripheral wall 1c' of the lower tray 1' is overlapped with the outer surface of the peripheral wall 1c of the upper tray 1, and at this time, the approximately vertical adhesive-coated surfaces 1a, 1a on the outer surfaces of the upper part of the peripheral walls of each tray are exposed without overlapping,
As a result, the trays are generally formed in a columnar shape as shown in FIG. 3. Therefore, even when multiple trays are stacked,
The adhesive can be easily, reliably, and satisfactorily applied to the adhesive application surface of each tray. In particular, the adhesive application surface of each tray is a continuous, substantially vertical surface that is substantially parallel to the axis of the application roller 5 and can be brought into close contact with the entire length of the outer circumferential surface of the application roller, allowing the adhesive 2 to be evenly and satisfactorily applied.

Next, to show an example of the packaging method, after applying the adhesive 2 to the application surface 1a as described above, the tray body 1 is cut on the mounting table 7 as shown in FIGS. 4 to 6. Fit it into frame 8. The cutting frame 8 is made of an electrically insulating material such as asbestos, and a resistance wire 9 such as a nichrome wire is stretched on the outer circumferential surface of the cutting frame 8.
0 are provided at appropriate intervals. Further, the mounting table 7 is provided with a large number of intake holes 11, and an intake chamber 13 is formed by a covering box 12 attached to the lower surface.
An intake pipe 14 connected to a vacuum pump is connected to this intake chamber 13 via a switching valve. Furthermore, a heating plate 15 formed in the shape of a hollow thin box made of metal with good thermal conductivity is provided above the cutting frame 8 into which the tray body 1 is fitted. Inside the plate 15, an appropriate number of heaters 16 are arranged at equal intervals. Also, this heating plate 1
A large number of small holes 17 are formed on the lower surface side of 5, and a film 18 is formed on the lower surface 15a which becomes the heating surface.
The heating plate 15 is coated with Teflon resin to prevent seizure, and an intake pipe 19 is connected to the top of the heating plate 15, which is connected to a vacuum pump (not shown) via a switching valve. The switching valve is connected to a vacuum pump and acts on the heating plate 15 through the intake pipe 19 only when heating the film 18, and sucks the film 18 from each small hole 17. The film 18 is removed from the lower surface 15 of the heating plate 15 by suctioning and removing the air between it and the heating plate 15.
(a) That is, the film 18 is brought into close contact with the heating surface over the entire surface, and the film 18 is heated to its softening point in a short period of time. When heating is completed, the valve is opened to the atmosphere or the film 18 is actively released using exhaust gas.

Next, the film holding frames 20 and 21 are lowered to overlap the heated and softened film 18 on the tray body 1, and then air is generated in the supply chamber 19 to spread the film 18 around the tray 1 and around the cutting frame 8. Closely contact. In this case, due to the presence of the frame 22 around the seventh mounting plate, the film 18 is shielded from the outside air as shown in FIG. Make a close contact as shown in the figure. At this time, since the adhesive 2 is applied to the adhesive surface 1a of the packaging tray 1 according to the present invention, the adhesion of the film 15 to the adhesive surface 1a of the tray body 1 becomes even more perfect, and the cutting frame The intake hole 10 of No. 3 ensures that the film 18 is in close contact with the resistance wire 9 on the outer peripheral surface of the cutting frame 8. Furthermore, since the film 18 is softened, it exhibits self-adhesive properties and adheres tightly to the adhesion surface 1a of the tray body 1 due to the suction action, thereby providing perfect sealing without any wrinkles.
