[Detailed description of the invention] (Industrial application field) This invention relates to a tufted tooth crown material, and its purpose is to use the wax pattern process, which is a pre-process for manufacturing dental prostheses (dental crown materials). In providing a mold material for a tufted dental crown material made of resin wax that can be used, the mold material for the tufted dental crown material is arranged in the order of the tooth rows in the shape of each position of each tooth row and formed into a tuft shape. The object of the present invention is to provide a mold material for a tufted dental crown material made of resin wax.

(Disadvantages of conventional technology) In general, tooth decay often erodes the upper part of the tooth, that is, the crown, and the treatment for this is to mechanically remove the affected area of the tooth and then use materials such as gold, silver, or ceramics. The usual treatment is to cover the tooth with a dental prosthesis (crown material).

Conventionally, such dental prostheses are created by first removing the affected area of the patient's tooth that requires a prosthesis and its surroundings, then creating a mold of the tooth (abutment tooth), and then attaching an internal prosthesis to this mold of the tooth (abutment tooth). First, a wax prototype for a dental prosthesis is taken by covering the entire surface of the tooth from the crown to the neck, that is, the area where the dental prosthesis (dental crown material) needs to be crowned, with dental wax. Then, based on the information, the wax model is embedded in a sand mold (embedding material), and molten metal from a dental prosthetic mold is injected into this sand mold (embedding material), and the wax is melted and created. After cooling the molten metal filled in the cavity, the sand mold (embedding material) is removed.

However, in the wax pattern process for manufacturing this dental prosthesis (dental crown material),
Conventionally, a separating material is first applied to the surface of the tooth that requires a tooth-shaped prosthesis (abutment tooth), then a layer of soft wax is applied, and then dental wax is formed as a surface layer on the surface of the soft wax layer. However, the upper surface of this dental wax was manually cut (carved) or raised (wax up) to create a shape similar to the crown of a tooth.

During this conventional wax pattern work, the wax up work or carving work is done by hand, so it requires a high level of work, it is a long and precise work, and the quality varies depending on the manufacturer, and the work is done by hand. This has been problematic because it requires a lot of manufacturing time.

As shown in Fig. 5, the technique disclosed in this Japanese Patent Publication No. 52-23515 is that a negative mold (Devcon mold) is made using a flexible material from a metal crown matrix in which a standard-form natural tooth is sculpted and restored. A semi-ready made elastic wax crown 51 is formed by injecting and press-fitting an inlay wax or a vinyl synthetic wax obtained by heating and mixing wax and ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer into the negative mold of the metal crown matrix using an injection molding machine (No. 5). (See Figures A, B, and C), when manufacturing this cast metal crown, select a semi-ready-made elastic wax-shaped crown 51 that most closely resembles the prosthetic tooth, heat it, and set it on each tooth socket so that the occlusal surface is placed on the opposing tooth. After correcting the tooth neck and adjusting the contact surface with the adjacent tooth at the same time, this modified semi-prefabricated elastic wax-shaped crown 51 is used to make a metal casting of the same type. This was a method of manufacturing a tooth casting metal crown, which consisted of manufacturing a crown.

Although this disclosed technique is one in which a semi-ready-made elastic wax-shaped crown is prepared from a standard-form natural tooth, and the drawbacks of the conventional technique have been overcome to some extent, there is still no method for manufacturing this tooth-cast metal crown. It had the following drawbacks.

That is, in the previously disclosed semi-ready-made elastic wax-shaped crown 51, not only the crown portion 52 but also the tooth neck portion 53 are adjusted from a standard-form natural tooth.
For correction and correction of 3, it is necessary to warm up beforehand.
In the current situation where there are many deviations in the amount of removal of the tooth neck 53 due to differences in individual technical ability, the problem of complicating the work of correcting and correcting the tooth neck 53 has not been sufficiently solved.

Further disadvantages include differences in tooth type at each dental position and differences in the size and shape of individual teeth, making it difficult for unskilled workers to adjust the shape and shape of multiple crowns at once. A new drawback has been that the position of the dentition must be selected in advance from among standard-form natural teeth, and the selection process is rather time-consuming.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) In consideration of the above-mentioned drawbacks and those of the techniques already disclosed, this invention provides a mold for a clustered crown material which has a depth sufficient to cover the upper portion of a tooth requiring prosthesis, has an upper surface which has approximately the same shape as the occlusal surface of a normal tooth, is hollow as a whole, is made of resin wax, and is arranged in a line in each position according to the shape of each row of teeth, with each row of teeth being attached to the tips of a number of branches which have their base ends connected to a single trunk. This makes it possible to easily and readily perform wax pattern work during the dental prosthesis manufacturing process, and in particular to quickly select a mold which is approximate only to the shape of the crown portion of the natural tooth requiring prosthesis, and to adjust only the cervical portion which is particularly in need of correction to match the shape of the actual tooth requiring prosthesis, thereby relatively reducing the number of steps in the wax pattern work, shortening the time required to obtain a wax prototype, and further making it possible to provide a dental prosthesis (crown material) of consistent quality.

However, in this invention, the cusp hexagonal angle is not limited to an acute angle. In other words, the cusp inclination angle indicated by θ in Figures 2A and B is within the range of 0 to 30 degrees, depending on the amount of tooth removed that requires prosthesis (i.e., the height of the abutment tooth). It is desirable to set this.

As explained above, the tufted tooth crown material of the present invention is molded into the shape of the occlusal surface using resin wax that naturally resembles the teeth, so it can be used to create a wax prototype of a dental prosthesis through wax pattern work. Therefore, the carving work and wax up work during the wax pattern work, which were always necessary in the past, can be completely omitted, and each tooth crown material shape is only deep enough to cover the crown of the tooth. Tooth mold of the patient's tooth that requires prosthesis (prosthetic tooth) A wax pattern using a conventional mold material, because it is only necessary to fill and adjust only the cervical part of the tooth that requires crowning and adjustment. This reduces the difficult work process of heating the tooth neck and adjusting it from a standard product, and it also simplifies precise adjustment of the tooth neck where the amount of removal is uneven, which in turn ensures that the prosthetic tooth does not make the patient feel uncomfortable. Moreover, since the mold for tufted tooth crown material is arranged according to the shape of the tooth row and is shaped like a tuft, the row of teeth of the interlocking teeth and the tooth row of the mold for the tufted tooth crown material can be easily separated. Because it can be selected and used just by looking at it, it has the effect of making it easier to obtain molds for manufacturing accurate dental crown materials compared to conventional dental crown materials, and has the effect of improving dental care.
