Description

【発明の詳細な説明】[Detailed description of the invention]

本発明は管の接合方法に関する。 現在、上下水道等にポリ塩化ビニル管が多く使
用されているが、接合の際、ポリ塩化ビニル管に
接着剤を塗布し接合する方法がとられており接合
後は管が接着剤で固定化されるため管が膨張する
と接合部にストレスがかゝる欠点を有し、又接着
剤に使用する溶剤や配合剤によりポリ塩化ビニル
に悪影響を及ぼしたり環境衛生上好ましくないな
どの問題が生じている。一方、ポリ塩化ビニル
管、鋼管、ヒユーム管(遠心力鉄筋コンクリート
管)等の管の接合にラバーシーリング法、すなわ
ち管の接合部にゴム輪を嵌合し、該ゴム輪の内面
もしくは外面に滑剤を塗布し、管を接合する方法
がとられだしたが、滑剤はオレイン酸カリウム等
の高級脂肪酸の金属塩、ステアリン酸メチル等の
脂肪酸エステル、低級ハイドロカーボン、メチル
セルロース、安息香酸メチル等を成分とした水溶
性のものであるため、雨天時又は水中での施行が
困難であり、施行後は管内の流動物に溶解するな
どの欠点を有している。 本発明は上記の問題点を解消するため鋭意検討
した結果完成されたものである。 本発明に使用される滑剤とはヒマシ油、ヒマシ
油モノグリセライド、リシノレイン酸モノグリセ
ライドからなる群から選ばれた一種又は二種以上
の化合物を主成分となし、それに増粘剤及び多価
アルコールを配合してなるもので、増粘剤として
は無水ケイ酸、無水ケイ酸ナトリウム、無水ケイ
酸アルミニウム、無水ケイ酸マグネシウム、オク
チル酸アルミニウム、ステアリン酸アルミニウム
等のケイ酸あるいはアルミニウム系無機質があげ
られ、多価アルコールとしてはポリエチレングリ
コール、プロピレングリコール、グリセロールト
リメチロールプロパン、ペンタエリスリトール等
があげられ、これらの増粘剤、多価アルコールは
夫々一種又は二種以上を配合することができる。 尚本発明の実施に際してはヒマシ油等の主成分
に対する増粘剤及び多価アルコールの添加割合は
特に制約されるものではないが、前者の100重量
部に対し後者を1〜30重量部程度添加すればよ
い。 本発明の管の接合方法はラバーリング法におい
て、滑剤を使用するもので、雄管又は雌管の接合
部にゴム輪を篏合せしめた後、該ゴム輪の内面も
しくは外面あるいは雄管又は雌管の外面もしくは
内面に上記滑剤を塗布し、雄管を雌管に挿入し接
合するものである。 本発明に使用される滑剤は無毒であると共に、
接着剤を塗布して塩ビ管を接合するという手間の
かかる方法をとらずに、本発明によれば簡単に接
合できるという利点がある。又、接合時および施
後に潤滑性を有するため管の接合部にストレスが
かゝらず、ポリ塩化ビニル管等の管及びゴム輪に
悪影響を及ぼさず、更に非水溶性であるため水質
あるいは水性流動物に悪影響を及ぼさず、雨天時
及び水中での接合が容易になせるなどの利点を有
し工業上有用なものである。 次に実施例及び試験例を示して本発明を説明す
るが、本発明はこれらの実施例、試験例に限定さ
れるものではない。 実施例 表−1に示す各配合成分を十分に加熱撹拌しな
がら混合し各々の管接合用滑剤を作製する。 次いで硬質塩化ビニル管(JISK6741)の雌管
にゴム輪を篏合し、該ゴム輪の内面及び雄管の端
部外周面に前記滑剤を塗布せしめた後、雄管を雌
管に圧入し、雄管と雌管を接合する。

ールを配合してなる管接合用滑剤を塗布し、雄管
