However, if the tube material to be stretched is heavy, such as one wound into a coil shape or one with a large diameter, the tip is crushed from one direction as described above, then the direction is changed 90 degrees and crushed again. Therefore, if it is a coiled pipe material, it takes a lot of effort to raise and fold it and change the direction in which the end is caught on the roll. Therefore, it is usually necessary to unwind the coil by one turn. In this method, a loop is made and the direction is changed by twisting the loop. However, there are problems such as twisting or deforming the loop 2 and crushing the tube, which reduces the product yield. Ta.

It is.

First, a short tube 2 having the same diameter as the tube material 1 to be stretched is prepared in advance (in the figure (a)), and one end of the short tube 2 is rolled (
(not shown) to process the opening ((b) in the figure). Thereafter, the other end of the short tube 2 is butted against the tip of the elongated pipe material 1 ((c) in the figure), and the abutting portion is welded 3 ((d) in the figure). Next, after deburring the welded part and making the outer circumferential surface of the pipe smooth ((e) in the figure), short pipe 2
Insert the opening into the drawing die 4 with the part side first and pull it out ((f) in the figure).

This is explained in the following table. All of the pipe materials to be stretched shown in this table are in the form of coils, and first, when comparing work efficiency, according to the method of the present invention, the number of setup steps (index) is reduced by about 20% compared to the conventional method. This is because in the present invention, there is no need to directly process the opening on the heavy stretched tube material 1, so there is no need to raise the stretched tube material 1 or unwind the tip of the coil to form a loop. It is. On the other hand, according to the method of the present invention, a value close to 100% can be obtained, which is significantly improved compared to the conventional method. This is because, in the method of the present invention, most of the portion of the tube material 1 to be stretched can be manufactured into a product by only scraping down the short tube 2 portion.
