The present invention relates to polycarbonate resin compositions. Specifically, the present invention relates to a polycarbonate resin composition for producing a molded article with improved thickness dependence in impact resistance and chemical resistance, and with little deterioration in physical properties at the weld portion. Although polycarbonate resin is an excellent resin as an engineering plastic, its disadvantages include that its impact resistance is highly dependent on thickness and that its chemical resistance is insufficient, and improvements in these are desired. As a polycarbonate resin composition with improved thickness dependence of impact resistance, a composition in which acrylic rubber is blended with polycarbonate resin (Tokuko Showa Co., Ltd.)
48-29308), and modified polycarbonate resins obtained by graft polymerizing α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acids or derivatives thereof to copolymers of ethylene and α-olefins having 3 or more carbon atoms. Composition containing ethylene copolymer (Japanese Unexamined Patent Application Publication No. 1983-1999)
157648) is known. In these compositions, the thickness dependence of impact resistance has been improved, but the former composition has not improved chemical resistance, and for example, when gasoline adheres to a molded product, However, there is a drawback that the strength is greatly reduced. In addition, the latter composition has the disadvantage that when it is made into a molded product, the physical properties of the welded part are greatly reduced, and the welded part is conspicuous and has a poor appearance. The inventors of the present invention have conducted intensive research to obtain a polycarbonate resin composition free from the above-mentioned drawbacks, and have found that when blending acrylic rubber and the above-mentioned modified ethylene copolymer with polycarbonate resin, Compared to a composition containing only acrylic rubber, the chemical resistance is significantly improved, and a composition with excellent physical properties in the weld area can be obtained. In addition, a composition containing only modified ethylene copolymer in polycarbonate resin can be obtained. The present invention was completed based on the knowledge that it is possible to obtain a composition that has significantly superior physical properties and appearance of the weld portion, and also has improved chemical resistance, compared to other compositions. That is, the present invention aims to provide a polycarbonate resin composition of great industrial value, and its gist is that (a) 0.5 to 50 parts by weight of acrylic rubber to 100 parts by weight of polycarbonate resin; and (b) add α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative to the copolymer of ethylene and α-olefin having 3 or more carbon atoms in an amount of 0.05 to
This is a polycarbonate resin composition containing 0.5 to 25 parts by weight of a modified ethylene copolymer obtained by graft polymerization in an amount of 1.5% by weight. The present invention will be explained in detail below. The polycarbonate resin used in the present invention has the general formula (In the formula, X is

Among these polycarbonate resins, 2,
Polycarbonate resins made from 2'-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)propane (so-called bisphenol A) are preferred. Examples of methods for producing polycarbonate resins include a phosgene method in which bisphenol A and phosgene are reacted, and a transesterification method in which bisphenol A is reacted with a carbonate ester such as diphenyl carbonate. Acrylic rubber is produced by polymerizing acrylic esters,
or a rubber-like elastic body obtained by copolymerization mainly consisting of this, typically with an acrylic ester such as butyl acrylate,
Examples include rubber-like polymers obtained by graft polymerizing a graft polymerizable monomer such as methyl methacrylate to a polymer obtained by polymerizing a small amount of a crosslinkable monomer such as butylene diacrylate. Examples of the acrylic ester include butyl acrylate, methyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, propyl acrylate, hexyl acrylate, 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, and the like. In addition to butylene diacrylate, crosslinkable monomers include esters of polyols and acrylic acid or methacrylic acid such as butylene dimethacrylate and trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate, vinyl compounds such as divinylbenzene, vinyl acrylate, and vinyl methacrylate; Examples include allyl compounds such as allyl acrylate, allyl methacrylate, diallyl maleate, diallyl fumarate, diallyl itaconate, monoallyl maleate, monoallyl fumarate, and triallyl cyanurate. In addition, as the above graft polymerizable monomer,
In addition to methyl methacrylate, examples include methacrylate acid esters such as ethyl methacrylate, butyl methacrylate, hexyl methacrylate, 2-ethylhexyl methacrylate, lauryl methacrylate, styrene, acrylonitrile, and the like. A part of this graft polymerizable monomer can also be used to copolymerize the above-mentioned acrylic ester and crosslinkable monomer. The above-mentioned acrylic rubbers include, for example, Metablane W-530, Metablane W-300, manufactured by Mitsubishi Rayon Co., Ltd.

It is also commercially available as. Modified ethylene copolymer has ethylene and 3 carbon atoms
The above copolymer with α-olefin (hereinafter referred to as unmodified ethylene copolymer) has α,β
- Obtained by graft polymerizing 0.05 to 1.5% by weight of unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative to unmodified ethylene copolymer. The unmodified ethylene copolymer that is the raw material for the above-mentioned modified ethylene copolymer is prepared by using, for example, a vanadium compound such as vanadium oxytrichloride or vanadium tetrachloride among Ziegler-Natsuta catalysts and an organoaluminium compound, and 50% by mole of ethylene. that's all,
Preferably, 80 to 95 mol% is copolymerized with α-olefin having 3 or more carbon atoms in an amount of 50 mol% or less, preferably 20 to 5 mol%. Examples of α-olefins having 3 or more carbon atoms include propylene, 1-butene, 1-hexene, and 1-decene.
Examples include 1,4-methylbutene-1,4-methylpentene-1, but propylene or butene-1 is preferred. Suitable unmodified ethylene copolymers include a series of resins commercially available under the Tafmer trademark from Mitsui Petrochemical Industries, Ltd., such as Tafmer A series (Tafmer A series such as Tafmer A4085, A4090, A20090, etc.). ethylene-butene-1 copolymer),
Examples include Tafmer P series (ethylene-propylene copolymers) such as Tafmer P0280, P0480, P0680, and P0880. The α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative (hereinafter simply referred to as unsaturated carboxylic acid) to be graft-polymerized to the unmodified ethylene copolymer is as follows:
Examples include acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, ethacrylic acid, maleic acid, fumaric acid, and anhydrides or esters of these acids. Among these, maleic anhydride is particularly preferred. The amount of unsaturated carboxylic acid graft-polymerized to the unmodified ethylene copolymer is 0.05 to 1.5% by weight based on the unmodified ethylene copolymer. If this amount is too small, the effect of improving the impact resistance of polycarbonate will be small, and only molded products with low tensile elongation will be obtained, and surface peeling of molded products will occur due to poor compatibility with polycarbonate. So I don't like it. On the other hand, if the amount is too large, it may cause coloring when added to polycarbonate, which is not preferable. Preferably it is in the range of 0.1 to 1% by weight. Graft polymerization is carried out by adding an unsaturated carboxylic acid to an unmodified ethylene copolymer according to a conventional method.
This is done by melting and kneading at 300℃. During this graft polymerization, in order to cause the polymerization to occur efficiently,
Organic peroxides such as α,α′-bis-t-butylperoxy-P-diisopropylbenzene,
It may be used in an amount of about 0.001 to 0.05% by weight based on the unmodified ethylene copolymer. The modified ethylene copolymer used in the present invention has a crystallinity (Journal of Polymer Science,
(measured by X-ray method according to the description in Volume XV (1955) pages 17-26) is preferably 75% or less, preferably 1 to 35%, and ) is 0.01
-50, preferably 0.1-20. In order to prepare a modified ethylene copolymer having such a crystallinity and melt index, an unmodified ethylene copolymer having a crystallinity and melt index within the above ranges may be used. In the present invention, a polycarbonate resin composition is prepared by melt-mixing a polycarbonate resin, the above-mentioned acrylic rubber, and a modified ethylene copolymer. Melt mixing can be carried out according to conventional methods,
For example, using a device such as a single screw or multi-screw extruder or a double screw mixer, at a temperature of 240 to 330°C, preferably 250 to 310°C, for 0.5 to 15 minutes, preferably 1 to 10 minutes. It is best to do this to a certain degree. The amount of acrylic rubber used is about 0.5 to 50 parts by weight, preferably about 1 to 30 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the polycarbonate resin. If the amount is too small, the effect of improving the physical properties of the weld portion cannot be expected. On the other hand, if the amount is too large, the inherent mechanical properties of the polycarbonate resin will be impaired. Also,
The amount of the modified ethylene copolymer used is about 0.5 to 25 parts by weight, preferably about 1 to 15 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the polycarbonate resin. If the amount is too small, the effect of improving impact resistance and chemical resistance cannot be expected. On the other hand, if the amount is too large, the physical properties of the weld portion will be impaired. The polycarbonate resin composition of the present invention can contain other resins, such as polyester resin, polyamide resin, polyester polycarbonate resin, polyacetal resin, etc., as long as the physical properties are not impaired. When compounding a polyester resin, chemical resistance can be further improved. When a polyester resin is blended, it is preferably used in an amount equal to or less than the same weight as the polycarbonate resin, preferably 70 parts by weight or less per 100 parts by weight of the polycarbonate resin, and polyethylene terephthalate is preferably used. The polycarbonate resin composition of the present invention also contains fibrous reinforcing agents such as glass fibers, carbon fibers, and metal fibers, fillers such as silica, alumina, silica alumina, clays, glass beads, and carbon black, and aromatic Known additives such as flame retardants such as group halogen compounds, stabilizers such as phosphite esters and phosphate esters, other lubricants, ultraviolet absorbers, and colorants may be added. The polycarbonate resin composition of the present invention can be used in various molding methods such as injection molding, extrusion molding, and compression molding because it can produce molded products with excellent impact resistance and chemical resistance, and with little deterioration in physical properties at the weld area. By this, molded products excellent as automobile parts, electrical and electronic parts, and other industrial materials can be obtained. EXAMPLES Hereinafter, the present invention will be specifically explained with reference to examples, but the present invention is not limited to the following examples unless it exceeds the gist thereof. In the examples, "parts" and "%" indicate "parts by weight" and "% by weight," respectively. Further, the Izot impact strength is a value measured according to ASTM D256 (notched), and the tensile elongation rate and tensile strength are values measured according to ASTM D638. The tensile elongation rate of the weld part is the value measured for a test piece in which molten resin was injected from both ends of the mold to form a weld part in the center of the test piece during molding of the test piece specified in ASTM D638. The appearance of the weld area was determined visually for the test piece, and was expressed as follows: ○ The weld area is not noticeable. △ Thin streaks are visible in the weld area. × There are perforated lines visible in the weld area. The tensile elongation rate of chemical resistance is determined by bending a tensile test piece specified by ASTM D638 to a bending strain of 0.5%, immersing it in gasoline for 5 minutes, and then keeping it at 23℃ for 24 hours. This is a value measured on a test piece that was left to dry. Production example of modified ethylene copolymer 100 parts of ethylene-butene-1 copolymer with a crystallinity of 20% and a melt index of 3.6 and a butene-1 content of 14 mol%, α dissolved in a small amount of acetone,
α′-bis-t-butylperoxy-P-diisopropylbenzene 0.025 part and maleic anhydride
0.5 parts were blended in a Henschel mixer;
This blend was melt-kneaded, extruded, and pelletized at 230°C using a 40 mmφ extruder to obtain a modified ethylene copolymer. After pulverizing a portion of this pellet, unreacted maleic anhydride was extracted with acetone, and after press molding, maleic anhydride was quantified by infrared spectroscopy, and it was found that 0.37% of maleic anhydride had undergone graft polymerization. . Examples 1 to 2 and Comparative Examples 1 to 3 Acrylic rubber (Acryloid KM330, manufactured by Rohm and Haas Co., Ltd., or mitsubishi rayon
Co., Ltd., Metablen W529) and the modified ethylene copolymer produced in the above production example were mixed in the amounts shown in Table 1 below, melt-mixed and extruded at 280°C using a 40 mmφ extruder, and pelletized. Polycarbonate resin composition pellets were obtained. The pellets were molded using a 3.6 oz injection molding machine (IS-75S manufactured by Toshiba Machine) and a mold for forming test pieces for physical property measurement, at a resin temperature of 280°C, a mold temperature of 80°C, and an injection molding temperature of 20°C.
Injection molding was performed with cooling time of 30 seconds. The physical properties of the obtained test piece were as shown in Table 1 below. For comparison, the results are also shown when only polycarbonate resin, acrylic rubber (Metablen W529), or modified ethylene copolymer was used.
