前記情報記録媒体２を搬送する駆動ローラで、７，７ａ
は従動ローラであシ、前記クリーニング用ローラ５と駆
動ローラ６及び駆動ローラ６ａ ｌ ６ｃと従動ローラ

る。８は情報記録媒体２に対して情報の記録又は再生を

、情報記録媒体２の表面に当接するりＩＪ ＝ング用
ローラ５は、駆動ローラ６の回転方向（右回転）と逆方
向に回転（左回転）させ、且っ１駆動ローラ６の回転速
度よりも速く回転させて、情報記録媒体２上に付着した
ごみ、指紋、油等を拭き取るようにしてクリーニングを
行う。そして、駆動ローラ６ｓ６ａｓ６ｂｔ６ｃと従動
ローラ７゜７ａによって情報記録媒体２を、記録又は再
生ヘッド８の下に搬送して情報の記録又は再生を行い、
情報の記録又は再生が完了するとフォトセンサー９ａが
検知し、駆動ローラ６ｓ６ａ＋６ｂ＊６ｃを逆方向に回
転（左回転）させて、情報記録媒体２を挿入口３の外に

、指紋、油等をクリーニングする構成によシ、クリーニ
ング用ローラは、固定式のクリーナーのように情報記録
媒体に接触する一部分のみが汚れるということがないの
で、身命を大幅に長くすることができ、更に１４報記録
媒体のクリーニニ・グを効果的に、且つ容易に行うこと
