Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the useless consumption of daytime electric power to improve the economical property of the heater and dissolve a problem that the heat-up time of the water is too short and it is not favorable for energy saving by a method wherein the conduction of a daytime electric heater, heating water in a hot-water reserving tank, is permitted by a timer circuit for a given period of time. CONSTITUTION:When midnight electric power 21 is stopped, a midnight electric power detecting circuit 23 outputs midnight electric power stopping signal and the control circuit 33 opens a relay 35 whereby the conduction of a night electric power heater 4 is stopped. At the same time, the timer circuit 29 starts the operation of a timer. A daytime electric heater control circuit 30 controls the conduction of the daytime electric heater 5 as far as the midnight electric power stopping signal from the detecting circuit 23 and the timer operating signal from the timer circuit are existing. When the timer stopping signal is outputted from the timer circuit 29, the control circuit 30 holds the relay 32 in the opening condition and the conduction of the daytime electric heater 5 is stopped. When a remaining hot-water detecting circuit 36 detects that there is no remaining hot-water more than specified value during a time in which the conduction of the daytime electric heater 5 is possible, the relay 37 is opened and the conduction of the daytime electric heater 3 may be stopped.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Field of Industrial Application The present invention relates to a daytime electric heater that heats water in a hot water storage tank using daytime electric power, and a nighttime electric heater that heats water in the hot water storage tank using late night electric power. A control circuit for a two-load, two-power electric water heater equipped with an electric heater. For the purpose of downsizing and energy saving, a two-load, two-power electric water heater is equipped with a daytime electric heater that uses daytime electricity. It is used for replenishment, and the most effective time to apply electricity is from the time the power is cut off in the morning and late at night until the evening.

After that, it is more economical to turn on electricity using late-night electricity, which is cheaper. For example, if a large amount of hot water in the hot water storage tank is used for taking a bath at 8 p.m., the water is heated by an electric heater during the daytime until water is supplied to the hot water storage tank and the midnight electricity starts. However, after 8 p.m., the water in the hot water storage tank will boil by the time the user goes to bed, making it impossible to use it for the rest of the day, and not only is there no benefit to turning on the electric heater during the day, but it also costs money. It is not economical because it requires high daytime power consumption.

In addition, because the water is preheated during the day by an electric heater, it has the disadvantage that the electric heater at night heats up the water quickly, resulting in large heat radiation losses, which goes against energy conservation.

On the other hand, a method can be considered in which the electric heater is enabled to be energized during the daytime only for a certain period of time using a timer circuit, and unnecessary energization is not performed. However, this alone does not completely solve the above-mentioned problems since users use the system in different ways.

If a large amount of hot water is supplied for taking a bath at 7:00 in the evening, it is outside the energization time, so the electric heater is not energized during the day, which solves the above problem. However, if a large amount of hot water is supplied for taking a bath at 4 p.m., the electric heater is turned on during the day until 6 p.m., which results in a waste of daytime power and is not economical.

Purpose of the Invention In view of the above-mentioned conventional problems, the present invention has been made to reduce daytime electric power by enabling a timer circuit to energize a daytime electric heater that heats water in a hot water storage tank using daytime electric power. This eliminates wasteful energization and improves economic efficiency, and also solves the problem that the boiling time is too early, which goes against energy conservation.

Structure of the Invention The basic structure of the present invention to achieve the above object is to include a nighttime electric heater that heats the water in the hot water storage tank using late-night electricity, and a nighttime electric heater that heats the water in the hot water storage tank using daytime electricity. a daytime electric heater that heats the daytime electric heater, an energization time setting unit that enables the daytime electric heater to be energized only for a certain period of time, and a sensor that detects the amount of hot water remaining in the hot water storage tank, and that enables the daytime electric heater to be energized. The electric heater is configured to stop energizing the daytime electric heater when the amount of remaining hot water decreases to less than a predetermined amount within a certain period of time.
