流側と下流側の夫々から第１と第２の給紙カセツ
トを突合わせ状に装填すると共に、前記給紙ロー
ラの正逆転選択駆動によつて前記両給紙カセツト
内の複写紙を選択的に搬送部に給紙するようにし
た複写機の給紙装置において、前記給紙ローラを
プリント操作に連動して非給紙作用位置から給紙
作用位置に切換わるように上下揺動自在に設け、
前記両給紙カセツトをそれらの給紙口を択一的に
前記給紙作用位置に臨ませる第１状態と第２状態
とに切換え自在に設けると共に、前記第１給紙カ
セツト内の複写紙を直接的に前記搬送部に案内す
る第１ガイド部材と、前記第２給紙カセツト内の
複写紙を前記給紙ローラの上方に迂回させて前記
搬送部に案内する第２ガイド部材、及び、前記第
１と第２状態の検出機構を配置し、更に、前記検
出機構による前記第１状態の検出を基にして複写
紙を前記第１ガイド部材に、且つ、前記第２状態
の検出を基にして複写紙を前記第２ガイド部材に
、夫々給紙するように前記給紙ローラの回転方向
を切換えさせるように構成したことを特徴とする
