流する自動車の上部コーナ部において、 上記ピラーとヘツダーは夫々アウタとインナと
で閉断面に形成され、一端部がピラーアウタの内
面に接合され、他端部がヘツダーインナの内面に
接合されて、ピラー内の閉断面をヘツダー側に向
けて徐々に絞り込む補強部材が設けられ、該補強
部材の他端部とヘツダーインナの内面とは車体内
方に向けて複数箇所で接合されていて、その厚み
が車体内方に向けて漸減されていることを特徴と
