Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture the titled voice coil having light weight and is superior in heat resistance and moisture resistance at low cost, by winding a conductor around a bobbin which is wound spirally with a composite sheet made of natural and synthetic fiber blend and impregnated with a thermosetting resin. CONSTITUTION:Natural fiber 2 is dispersed and beaten, and synthetic fiber 3 is blended up to the ratio of 15-30wt%. The synthetic fiber is a heat resistant polyester with length of 4-6mm, and thickness of 1-2 denier. The blended fibers are made paper and dried. Outside sheet 4 and inside sheet 4' are made by the paper. And then, a bobbin 7 is made by spirally winding the outer sheet 4 on the inside sheet 4' and adhering an adhesive 6. Also a voice coil 8 is wound around the outside sheet 4 and adhered by adhesive 6'. In this way, light weight, heat resistant and moisture resistant product is manufactured at low cost. The product is suitable for car and outside use.

Conventional structure and its problems As the base material for speaker voice coil bobbins, aluminum and glass fiber-containing polyamide resin, which have a low expansion and contraction rate in terms of moisture resistance and heat resistance, have traditionally been used for outdoor or car speakers. Paper pobins are often used for indoor speakers. The former bobbin is heavy;
It has disadvantages such as difficulty in rationalizing production and high price, while the latter has advantages such as being light in weight, allowing for rationalization of manufacturing by spiral winding, and low price. An example of the configuration of a voice coil using such a paper bobbin is shown in Part 6.
This figure is a cross-sectional view of the voice coil. An inner sheet material 11 and an outer sheet material 12 are coated with an adhesive 13 and spirally wound to form a bobbin.
It is constructed by winding. A voice coil using such a paper bobbin has the disadvantage that the bobbin swells and becomes deformed as shown in FIG. 7 when temperature and humidity tests are repeated.

Structure of the Invention The present invention combines natural ta fibers with heat-resistant polyester fibers.
A voice coil is constructed by impregnating a thermosetting resin into a composite sheet obtained by mixing ~30 wt%, and winding a conducting wire around a bobbin made by spirally winding the sheet. The voice coil constructed with this structure has the following features: it is light, has excellent heat resistance, and can be manufactured at a low price.

Figure 5 is a graph measuring the relationship between the addition rate of synthetic fibers added to natural fibers and the shrinkage rate and specific gravity when made into a bobbin in the present invention, and the horizontal axis is the polyester resin relative to natural pulp. The blending ratio (wt%), the vertical axis shows the shrinkage rate and specific gravity. From this graph, the mixing ratio of synthetic TA fiber to natural fiber is 70 to 85%,
It can be seen that 15 to 30% of synthetic fiber is optimal in terms of shrinkage rate and specific gravity.
