【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 円柱状をなす工具本体２には、２つのフルート
溝４が軸方向に形成され、しかも、このフルート
溝４の先端に設けられたチツプ座５内にそれぞれ
スローアウエイチツプ６が取付けられるようにし
た２枚刃の座ぐりカツタにおいて、 前記スローアウエイチツプ６は、傾斜側面７を
有する正方形板状をなし、かつ、すくい面を構成
する上面側では、中央陸部１０が凸出するように
全周ブレーカ溝１１が形成されるとともに、その
切刃稜が凹凸を呈するようにニツク１２が備えら
れており、また、チツプ座５内に配置されたとき
には、その正面側に位置する切刃稜が、その軸方
向に対し、直交する関係にあるとともに、その軸
方向のすくい角がαが０°〜１０°、その半径方
向のすくい角が−１０°〜−１５°の範囲内で設
定されるようにしたことを特徴とする座ぐりカツ
