Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate improper contact at connection by utilizing an electromagnetic coupling transformer so as to couple a terminal device and a receiver so as to attain communication not using a cable. CONSTITUTION:A serial signal 9 is outputted from a communication I/F8 of a terminal device 1 by using a signal from a CPU. Only a change in the series signal is extracted by a capacitor 10 to obtain a signal (b). The coupling transformers are coupled electromagnetically and the change signal is a signal (c) to be fed to an OP amplifier through a capacitor 13. Thus, the signal (d) is similar. The signal (d) becomes a signal (e) by using a positive direction change detector 15. Further, the signal (d) becomes a signal (f) by using a negative change detector 16. A flip-flop 17 is operated by using the signal (e) as the set signal and the signal (f) as the reset signal to generate a final serial signal (g). A receiver 19 is connected to a CPU through a serial I/F section 18.

DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS In FIG. 4, the terminal device 1 is a 3-page system (see FIG. 5) in which a serial signal 9 is output from the communication I/Fs in response to a signal from the CPU. From the series signal, only the variation is taken out by the capacitor 10 and becomes a signal. coupling transformer 1
1.12 are electromagnetically coupled to each other, and the above change signal becomes a C signal and is supplied to the OP amplifier through the capacitor 13. Therefore, the same applies to the d signal. The d signal becomes the C signal by the positive direction change detector 15. Further, the negative direction change detector 16 generates an f signal. The flip-flop 1 operates using the above C signal as a set signal and the f signal as a reset signal, and becomes the final serial signal q.
