Abstract

PURPOSE:To make thin the machine body and to facilitate taking in/out of paper by arranging a both face copy tray for containing the papers completed of single face copy and serving as the paper feed tray when copying on the other face at one outside of machine body. 記両面コピートレイ6内に収納し、しかるのち該用紙を
両面コピートレイから再び前記感光体3の転写部4に送
り出して残る片面へのトナー像の転写及び定着を行ない
、機外の排紙トレイ5へと排紙されて行くよ5に構成さ
れていた。そのために機械本体1の高さが前記両面コピ
ートレイ6を内蔵させる分、機械が上下に厚(なること
は勿論のこと、該両面コピートレイ6は機械本体1内に
おいてサービスマンやオペレーター達が手を差込むKは
非常に困難な箇所に位置していたため、当該トレイ6内
に収納した用紙にトラブルが発生し、該トラブル紙を取
出す必要が生じた際には該作業を非常にやりに(いもの
にしてしまうといった欠点があると共に、該両面コピー
トレイ6は、自動両面コピー時における片面コピー終了
用紙の収納、そして残る片面のコピーの供給用トレイと
してしか利用できなかつたため、当該機械を片面コピー
モードで使用するには前記通常の給紙トレイ2.2′の
他に第2図に示すように手差し機構7を設けなげればな
らないといった欠点があった。
