Conventionally, the method for manufacturing decorative boards with printed patterns used for ceiling materials, wall materials, etc. is to apply paint to the surface of a board-shaped object in advance and then dry it. A method has been adopted in which a desired colored pattern is printed on the surface of an object using various inks by screen printing, flexographic printing, etc., and the printed layer is fixed by drying.

However, in the above conventional method, at least two drying steps are required: drying the coating layer and drying the printing layer.
Because printing is required twice, the process becomes complicated and the amount of thermal energy used during manufacturing increases, contributing to high costs. However, when the surface is granular, embossed, etc., the printing suitability is significantly reduced, and a beautiful printed pattern cannot be obtained.

The present invention has been made in view of these problems, and utilizes an electronic printing method that can print on printing materials without contact, and can print on smooth surfaces as well as on smooth surfaces.
Beautiful colored patterns can be easily formed even on uneven surfaces without using special powder ink, and unlike conventional screen printing, drying of the paint coating layer that is the printing base and the printing layer is possible. An object of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a decorative board, which allows drying of a coating layer and fixing of a printed layer to be carried out at the same time without having to carry out these processes separately, thereby simplifying the process and reducing the amount of heat energy used. It is.

That is, in the present invention, after coating the surface of a plate-like object with a paint using an appropriate coating means such as a spray coater or a flow coater, the plate-like object with the applied layer in an undried state is coated with through-holes in a desired pattern. is inserted between an electrically conductive metal screen plate having a conductive metal screen plate and an electrode plate facing the screen plate, and a DC voltage is applied between the two plates to generate an electrostatic field. Powdered pigment is supplied into an electrostatic field to form the above pattern on the surface of the undried plate.
It is characterized in that a colored layer is provided that substantially corresponds to the shaped through-hole, and then dried to harden the coating layer and fix the colored layer.

以下、本発明を図面に従つて詳細に説明する。 Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained in detail with reference to the drawings.

First, a coating layer 2 is formed by applying a paint onto the surface of a plate-like object 1 made of wood or mineral fiber board, gypsum board, etc., using an appropriate application means such as a spray coater or a flow coater.

Next, while the coating layer 2 remains undried, the plate-like object 1 is inserted into the through-holes 3a in a desired pattern.
Electrically conductive metal screen plate 3 (-pole) having
and an electrode plate 4 (+ pole) facing the screen plate 3 at a certain distance, and both plates 3,
A DC power supply 5 is connected between the terminals 4 and 4 to apply a DC voltage to generate an electrostatic field 6, and the powder pigment 7 is passed through the screen plate 3 from the outer surface of the metal screen plate 3 using a brush roller 8 or a squeegee. It is imprinted into the holes 3a, charged, and drawn toward the electrode plate 4 via the electrostatic field 6 by electrostatic force, and is deposited on the undried coating layer 2 on the surface of the plate-like object 1 interposed therebetween. . As a result, a colored layer 9 substantially corresponding to the patterned through holes 3a of the screen plate 3 is formed on the surface of the plate-like object 1 in the undried state. In conventional electronic printing methods, synthetic resin or one coated with synthetic resin is used as powder ink, and after it is electrically attached to the surface of the printing material, the resin is dissolved using heat or solvent vapor. Although the pigment is fixed, the powder pigment used in the present invention is attached using the viscosity of the coating layer 2, and therefore various organic and inorganic colored powders can be used.

On the other hand, in order to form the desired beautiful colored layer 9, the distance between the metal screen plate 3 and the electrode plate 4 is approximately 0.5 to 10 mm, and the DC voltage applied between the two plates 3 and 4 is 0.5 mm. Set within the range of ~10KV.

Of course, such colored layer 9 can be formed in a clear pattern, but it can also be formed in a gradation-like pattern that is rich in design effects. The above-mentioned blurred pattern can be easily obtained by increasing the fluidity of the coating layer 2.
It can also be obtained by increasing the distance between the screen plate 3 and the electrode plate 4.

Since the method of the present invention is an application of electronic printing, it is possible to form beautiful colored patterns not only on flat surfaces but also on uneven surfaces. Such an uneven surface can be formed, for example, by applying paint in granules with a spray gun or the like on the surface of a plate-like object or a plate-like object with a base coat, or by embossing or cutting the surface of a plate-like object. When applying the method of the present invention to such an uneven surface, the coating layer 2 is formed by applying paint to an extent that the unevenness does not disappear, thereby creating a beautiful colored surface. It can be formed on an uneven surface having a pattern.
In addition, in the case of the above-mentioned granular uneven surface, the granular coating layer is used as coating layer 2 without further applying a paint thereon, and the method of the present invention is applied to form a colored pattern directly on the granular coating layer. You can also do that.

Next, to describe an example of the present invention, 300 g/m 2 of vinyl acetate resin paint with a viscosity of 1000 cps was applied to the surface of a wood fiberboard, and then the wood fiberboard was coated as desired with the above coating layer in an undried state. Cobalt blue and calcium carbonate were mixed by placing it on a metal screen plate with patterned through holes and an electrode plate facing each other at a distance of 8 mm, and applying a DC voltage of 4 KV between the two plates. Imprinting a blue powder pigment from above the screen plate and depositing it on the coating layer in a pattern substantially corresponding to the through holes,
After drying, a decorative board having a beautiful colored pattern with a shading effect was obtained.

As explained above, according to the method of the present invention, an electronic printing method is used to form a colored layer of powdered pigment on the paint coating layer previously provided on the surface of the plate while it remains undried. At the same time, it is possible to simultaneously cure the coating layer and fix the colored layer in a single drying process, which simplifies the process and reduces the thermal energy consumption required for manufacturing, resulting in a beautiful finish. A decorative board having a colored pattern can be manufactured efficiently and at low cost.

Furthermore, according to the method of the present invention, it is possible to form a desired colored pattern not only on plate-like objects with smooth surfaces but also on plate-like objects with uneven surfaces such as granular and embossed surfaces. By adjusting the distance between the electrodes or the distance between the two electrodes, it is possible to form a beautiful and novel colored pattern with a blurring effect that could not be obtained conventionally, and this has excellent practical effects.
