であり、試料7を真つ直ぐに切断することができ
ないばかりでなく、丸鋸刃1の側面が試料と接触
して摩耗擦が生じ、切断音が大きくなり、電池に
対する負荷が大きくなり電池寿命が短かくなると
いう欠点があつた。この欠点を解決するため、た
とえば第1図中点線で示すようにハンドル5を丸
鋸刃1に近接配置して前記作用点間距離l1を短か
くすることが考えられるが、このようにハンドル
5を設定すると、ハンドル5が装置の重心からず
れ、切断前や切断後に装置を持つたとき装置が傾
いて持ちにくくなるものであり、さらには切断セ
ツト時に丸鋸刃1の刃先を墨線等に合せにくく使
用上不都合を生じる。

本発明を図示実施例に基づき詳述する。丸鋸刃

くできるのである。その結果、丸鋸刃で試料を切
断する際にハンドルの回りに生じるモーメントを
従来よりも小さくすることができるのであり、ハ
ンドルを手で持つて試料を切断する丸鋸装置にお
いて、丸鋸刃が左右に振れることがなくなり、真
つ直ぐに試料を切断できるという利点を有するも
のである。また、ハンドルの回りに生じるモーメ
ントが小さく、思料が真つ直ぐに切断できるか
ら、丸鋸刃の側面から試料に作用する力が小さく
なるものであり、丸鋸刃と試料との間の摩擦力が
小さくなる結果、切断時に発生する騒音が小さく
なり、かつ電池の寿命が長くなる利点がある。さ
らに、丸鋸刃の軸方向において装置の巾が小さく
なるものであるから、丸鋸刃の軸方向における巾
が比較的狭い試料を切断する場合であつても試料
を押さえる手に装置が接触しないものであり、巾
の狭い試料を容易に切断できるという利点を有す
るものである。また、ハンドルが丸鋸刃の回転軸
に直交し重心を含む面内に突設されているので、
ハンドルを持つたときに、丸鋸刃の回転軸が略水
平になるのであり、切断時に丸鋸刃を試料の切断
