Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the carrying performance by arranging a coil made of resin at the inside of power carrying pipe while contacting tightly and arranging a screw at the inside of said coil thereby preventing contact between the screw and the pipe even upon bending of screw. CONSTITUTION:Residual toner on the photo-sensitive drum 1 is removed through a sponge roller 3 and the toner collected in a cleaner 6 is contained through carrying screw 4, coupling pipe 7 and coupling adaptor 8 into the discard toner case 5. Here, a plastic contact-tight coil 9 is arranged in the coupling pipe 7. The outerdiameter of coil 9 is made slightly longer than the innerdiameter of the coupling pipe 7 which is slghtly longer than the outerdiameter of carrying screw 4. Consequently, even when the curvature R is low, the carrying screw 4 will rotate without contacting against the coupling pipe 7, and the sliding resistance will never increase even upon contact with the coil 9.
