BACKGROUND ART In continuous rolling equipment for steel bars, wire rods, etc., loopers are generally installed between rolling mills in order to perform tensionless rolling to improve the dimensions and shape of products. FIG. 1 shows an example of a conventional down looper, in which 1 is a looper, 2 is a rolling mill on the front stage side, and 3 is a rolling mill on the rear stage side. A pressure roller 4 is driven vertically by a hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder 5, and is used to press the rolled material to form a loop. 6 is the pressure roller 4
The receiving roller installed in the front part of the pass line 7
It is arranged on the loop forming side. The receiving roller 6 is an inlet side guide 8 fixed to the machine frame of the looper 1.
It is pivoted on. Note that 9 is a guide that forms a cylindrical passage surrounding the pass line when the tip of the rolled material passes through, and is of a type that splits and rotates sideways or downwards to release when forming a loop of the rolled material. However, illustration of its detailed structure is omitted. Further, 10 is an exit side guide, and 11 is a guide roller pivotally supported by this exit side guide.

However, in the looper having the above configuration, the receiving roller 6 has the tip of the rolled material aligned with the pass line 7 before forming the loop.
Since the rolled material is fixed at a position to guide the rolled material so as to pass through the guide 9 along the guide 9, after the rolled material is introduced into the rolling mill 3 on the rear stage side, the pressure roller 4 is lowered by the cylinder 5 to move the rolled material. Press loop 12
, the rolled material 13 in the front part of the receiving roller 6 rises above the pass line 7 according to the rigidity of the rolled material, and the cylindrical outlet guide 14 attached to the rolling mill 2 rises.
The material is strongly pressed against the inside, causing scratches on the rolled material. If the receiving roller 6 is mounted so as to be spaced downward from the pass line 7 in order to avoid this scratch, the tip of the rolled material collides with the front end surface of the guide 9 when guiding the tip of the rolled material, causing an accident that interrupts continuous rolling.

This invention solves the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks,
An object of the present invention is to provide a looper in which the tip of the rolled material is guided along the pass line without colliding with the end face of the guide, and in which the generation of scratches due to pressure contact with the outlet guide of the rolling mill during loop formation is prevented. be.

In the figure, parts given the same reference numerals as in FIG. 1 indicate the same parts as in FIG. 1. Reference numeral 20 denotes a substantially rectangular cylindrical entrance side guide, which has a rolled material passage 21 and is attached to the front wall 23 of the looper 22 so as to be movable up and down. That is, the collars 24 and 25 of the entrance guide base are slidably guided by guide rails 27 and 28 that extend in the vertical direction and have an L-shaped cross section and are attached to the side wall 26 of the looper. In addition, an eye bolt 3 is connected to an ear portion 29 protruding from the upper surface of the entrance side guide 20 via a pin 30.
1 are connected to each other, and a spring receiver 33 is attached to the upper part of this eye bolt by a lock nut 32.
Reference numeral 34 denotes a bracket fixed to the front wall 23 of the looper, and a compression spring 36 is interposed between this bracket and the spring receiver 33, and the spring force of this compression spring causes the entrance side guide 20 to move upward via the eye bolt 31. energized. 37 is the stopper bolt,
It is screwed and fixed to the bracket 34 with a nut 38 so that the amount of protrusion can be adjusted freely, and the stopper bolt 37
The tip is in contact with the upper surface of the entrance side guide 20. On the other hand, reference numeral 39 denotes a receiving roller, which is rotatably supported via a shaft 40 by an ear portion 41 protruding from the lower surface of the entrance side guide 20. 42 is a window bored in the lower surface of the entrance guide 20, and the upper part of the receiving roller 39 projects through this window 42 into the rolled material passage 21 of the entrance guide.

To use the looper 22 configured as described above, the amount of protrusion of the stopper bolt 37 is adjusted to adjust the position of the receiving roller 39 so that the rolled material guided by the receiving roller 39 runs horizontally along the pass line 7. . Next, when the pressure roller 4 is pulled upward and the rolled material is sent out from the exit guide 14 of the preceding rolling mill in this state, the rolling tip is smoothly moved along the pass line 7 by the receiving roller 39 into the guide 9 (the (see Figure 1). When the leading end of the rolled material is introduced into the subsequent rolling mill, the guide 9 is released and the pressure roller 4 is lowered by the cylinder 5 to the position shown by the chain line 50 to form a loop of the rolled material. Due to the rigidity of the rolled material pushed by the roller 4, the receiving roller 39 is pressed substantially downward via the rolled material, which causes the compression spring 36 to bend and the entrance side guide 20 to move downward, and the receiving roller 39
is lowered to the position indicated by the chain line 51. Along with this, the center line of the rolled material that engages with the receiving roller 39 separates from the pass line 7 near the receiving roller 39, as shown by the chain line 52, and almost coincides with the pass line 7 near the exit guide 14 of the rolling mill. Therefore, occurrence of scratches in the rolling mill due to pressure contact with the outlet guide 14 is prevented.

Next, when passing a rolled material with high rigidity through the looper, the press roller 4 is moved along the chain line 50 as in the previous case.
When the receiving roller 39 is lowered to the position indicated by the chain line 53, the receiving roller 39 is further pressed downward by the rigidity of the rolled material and descends together with the entrance side guide 20 to the position shown by the chain line 53. As a result, the center line of the rolled material becomes as shown by a chain line 54, but near the exit of the exit guide 14 of the rolling mill it almost coincides with the pass line 7, thereby preventing the occurrence of scratches. By adjusting the set length of the compression spring 36 as necessary to adjust the spring force, it is possible to reliably prevent the occurrence of scratches in the outlet guide 14 even over a wide range of changes in the rigidity of the rolled material.

In the above embodiment, the entire inlet guide 20 with the receiving roller 39 supported on the shaft is moved up and down, but the inlet guide 20 and the shaft 40 are separated and the inlet guide is fixed to the front wall of the looper, and the shaft 40 and The receiving roller 39 supported by this may be upwardly biased by a spring to move up and down.Furthermore, the receiving roller 39 may be pivoted to a lever rotatable around a horizontal axis, and this lever may be rotated by a spring. Alternatively, the receiving roller 39 may be biased in a direction toward the pass line by being biased so as to move.

As explained above, according to the present invention, the receiving roller is supported so as to be able to move toward and away from the pass line, and the spring that biases the receiving roller in the direction of approaching the pass line and the regulating position of the receiving roller with respect to the pass line are used. Since the tip of the rolled material is smoothly guided into the guide along the pass line without colliding with the end face of the guide, the receiving roller is also provided with a stopper to prevent the rolling material from colliding with the rigidity of the rolled material when forming a loop. By moving downward by a corresponding amount, occurrence of scratches on the rolled material due to pressure contact with the rolling mill exit guide is prevented. Further, the support structure of the receiving roller using a spring is extremely simple and does not require any complicated control device, so it is less likely to break down and can be manufactured at low cost, and an existing looper can be easily modified.
