【表】DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a sag-resistant fin material for a heat exchanger. Specifically, the present invention relates to a method for producing a fin material used in corrugated fin type or fin and tube type heat exchangers, etc., and which requires excellent sagging resistance and thermal conductivity. Conventionally, evaporators, condensers, etc.
Corrugated fin heat exchangers or fin and tube heat exchangers are often used. The corrugated fin type heat exchanger has a separator plate with an internal conduit for the passage of the cooling medium, and a thickness of 0.15 to 0.4
mm corrugated fins (wavy fins) and assembled in layers, or the separator plate is formed by meandering and bending at appropriate intervals.
This is a heat exchanger with corrugated fins installed between these separators. In a corrugated fin heat exchanger, the heat of the cooling medium is conducted from the separator to the corrugated fins while the cooling medium passes through the internal conduits of the separator.
It is effectively dissipated to the outside from corrugated fins with a wide surface area. Separators are made by casting pillars from molten aluminum or aluminum alloy such as JIS1100, JIS1050, and JIS3003 using a semi-continuous casting method, then hot extruding to obtain extruded hollow shapes of the desired shape, and further refining this as necessary. Manufactured by serpentine bending. Regarding Colgate Huynh,
Slabs are cast from molten aluminum-manganese alloys such as JIS3003, JIS3004, and JIS3203 using a semi-continuous casting method, hot rolled into strips of 3 to 10 mm, and then cold rolled to a thickness of 0.05 to 0.4 mm. A corrugated fin material is obtained by annealing the corrugated fin material during or after the cold rolling process, and the corrugated fin material is corrugated at a desired wave height and pitch. To attach a corrugated fin to a separator, the corrugated fin is usually secured so that the wave crests or troughs of the corrugated fin are in contact with the separator surface.
Brazing is performed using Al-Si alloy or Al-Si-Mg alloy brazing material. On the other hand, fin-and-tube heat exchangers have thin plates (fins) with a thickness of 0.1 to 0.4 mm and diameters of 5 to 5 mm.
This is a heat exchanger with a 15 mm hole drilled and a tube for passing the cooling medium inserted through the hole. A collar-shaped rise may be provided around the hole, if necessary. The fin material used in fin-and-tube heat exchangers is also aluminum, such as JIS3003 or JIS3203, similar to the corrugated fin material mentioned above.
Molten manganese alloy is cast into a slab using a semi-continuous casting method, and this is hot rolled into a slab with a thickness of 3 to 10 mm.
It is manufactured by obtaining a strip-shaped plate, which is then cold-rolled into a thin plate, and then subjected to an annealing treatment. To attach the fins to the tube, place a
This is done by covering the fin with a brazing material, inserting a tube through the hole in the fin, and then brazing. Brazing prevents oxidation of the filler metal,
Heating the contact area between the separator and the corrugated fin or the contact area between the tube and the fin-and-tube type fin to 570-620°C in a non-oxidizing atmosphere (especially in a vacuum) or using flux. This is done by At this time, if the high-temperature strength of the fin material is low, a portion of the fin may sag or collapse, resulting in insufficient bonding between the separator or the tube and the fin. As a method of obtaining a fin material with excellent sagging resistance, in which the occurrence of sagging or collapse of the fins during heating during brazing is small, the sagging resistance can be further improved by adding zirconium or the like to the aluminum alloy containing manganese. It has been proposed to add elements, but manganese reduces the thermal conductivity of the fin material, while adding zirconium increases the price. , an even better fin material is desired. Therefore, the present inventors investigated an industrially advantageous method for producing sag-resistant fin materials used in these heat exchangers, and found that a specific method was adopted instead of the conventional semi-continuous casting method and hot rolling method. A strip plate with a thickness of 3 to 10 mm was obtained by direct continuous casting and rolling from molten aluminum containing a large amount of iron, and this was used to manufacture corrugated fin material. The obtained corrugated fin material had excellent sag resistance. The present invention has been achieved based on the discovery that the material has excellent properties such as thermal conductivity, thermal conductivity, and mechanical strength. That is, the purpose of the present invention is to produce a sagging-resistant fin material with excellent sagging resistance, thermal conductivity, and mechanical strength, and this purpose is to
Molten aluminum containing iron is continuously cast and rolled to form a strip plate with a thickness of 3 to 10 mm, which is then cold rolled to form the above aluminum plate with a thickness of 0.05 to 10 mm.
This is achieved by forming a 0.4 mm plate material and annealing it at 250 to 550°C during or after the cold rolling process. Next, the present invention will be explained in detail. The aluminum used in the method of the present invention is 0.1
It is necessary to contain ~0.7% iron by weight,
This improves the drooping resistance of the fin material. In other words, iron that is forcibly dissolved in aluminum during casting and rolling is finely precipitated in the structure as an iron-containing intermetallic compound by the subsequent annealing treatment, and as a result, the structure is strengthened at high temperatures and has improved resistance to sagging. Improves sex. If the iron content in the alloy is too low, it will not have any effect; on the other hand, if it is too high, the crystallization of iron-containing intermetallic compounds will be promoted, resulting in a decrease in the formability and sag resistance of the fin material. Therefore, the iron content in aluminum is 0.1-0.7
% by weight, preferably 0.4-0.6% by weight. In addition, in order to refine the structure of aluminum,
Titanium or zirconium can also be added to the alloy if desired. The amount of each of these elements added to aluminum is preferably in the range of 0.01 to 0.1% by weight. When using titanium, 10% of the amount of titanium is used.
~20% by weight of boron may also be used. Note that aluminum contains impurity elements such as silicon, copper, manganese, magnesium, zinc, nickel, and vanadium, but silicon lowers the melting point of aluminum, and copper improves aluminum's corrosion resistance and formability. Manganese lowers the thermal conductivity, and magnesium lowers the melting point of aluminum as well as its formability. Therefore, the silicon content in aluminum is 0.6% by weight or less, especially 0.3% by weight or less, and the copper content is
Preferably, the content is 0.25% by weight or less, particularly 0.1% by weight or less, the manganese content is less than 0.3% by weight, the magnesium content is 1.3% by weight or less, and the total amount of impurity elements is 2.7% or less. In the present invention, as aluminum, JIS1100,
JIS1200, AAX8130, AAX8176 (French standard)
etc. are used. In the method of the present invention, the molten aluminum is continuously cast and rolled to directly form a strip plate having a thickness of 3 to 10 mm. In order to continuously cast and roll molten aluminum, the molten metal is introduced between the molds through a nozzle placed between the molds, which are composed of two rotating casting rolls or a running casting belt, etc. It is sufficient to roll the material at the same time while cooling it in the mold. The above method is known as the direct continuous casting and rolling method, and according to this method, a strip plate with a thickness of 3 to 10 mm is cast directly from molten aluminum.
The molten metal is cooled uniformly and rapidly, and therefore a considerable amount of impurity elements in iron and aluminum are forcibly dissolved in the aluminum. Therefore, if the iron content in aluminum is low, almost no intermetallic compounds containing iron will crystallize, and conversely, even if the iron content is high, the amount of crystallized products will be small and the size of the iron-containing intermetallic compounds will be small. It's also small. On the other hand, the forced solid solution iron precipitates as a fine intermetallic compound containing iron during the cold rolling process or by annealing treatment after cold rolling. In the present invention, the reason why the sagging resistance of the fin material is improved by using the strip plate manufactured by the continuous casting and rolling method is that it prevents the crystallization of coarse intermetallic compounds containing iron, and prevents the crystallization of fine intermetallic compounds containing iron. This is thought to be because it can effectively promote the precipitation of intermetallic compounds. In the continuous casting and rolling method, the casting speed (travel speed of the strip) is 0.8 to 1.4 m/min, and the molten metal speed is 680 to 710°C.
A range of is appropriate. As a method for producing a corrugated fin material from a strip plate obtained in this way, there are cases where the strip plate is used as a bare material, and cases where the surface of the strip plate is coated with a brazing material to form a clad composite material. When the strip plate is used as a bare material, the strip plate is cold rolled into a plate material of 0.05 to 0.4 mm, and annealed at 250 to 550°C during or after the cold rolling process. Through the annealing treatment, iron that has been forcibly dissolved in aluminum precipitates as fine intermetallic compounds. If the annealing temperature is low, intermetallic compounds cannot be effectively precipitated, and if the annealing temperature is too high, intermetallic compounds will precipitate coarsely.
Preferably, the temperature is selected from the range of 350 to 450°C. The appropriate annealing time is in the range of 1 to 4 hours. When coating the surface of a band-shaped plate with a brazing material to make a clad composite material, thin brazing metal plates are superimposed on the top and bottom surfaces of the obtained band-shaped plate and hot-rolled to form a clad composite material, and then, This is cold-rolled into an aluminum plate with a thickness of 0.05 to 0.4 mm, during or after the cold rolling process.
Perform annealing treatment at 250-550℃. As a brazing material, Al-Si alloy containing 6.8 to 11.0% by weight of silicon, or 3.5 to 10.5% by weight
Known materials such as an Al--Si--Mg alloy containing silicon and 0.05 to 2.0% by weight of magnesium can be used. Hot rolling is performed at a temperature of 350 to 500°C and a rolling rate of 30 to 60%. The brazing filler metal coverage of the clad composite material is suitably in the range of 5 to 20%. Cold rolling and annealing of the clad composite material is carried out in the same manner as described above. The corrugated fin material thus obtained is suitably shaped and then attached to the separator plate by brazing. On the other hand, fin-and-tube type fin materials are manufactured in exactly the same manner as in the case of manufacturing corrugated fin materials using bare strip plates. That is, the thickness obtained by the above method is 3 to 10 mm.
A strip plate is cold rolled into a plate material with a thickness of 0.05 to 0.4 mm, during the cold rolling process or after cold rolling.
Annealing treatment is performed at 550℃. The obtained fin material is subjected to fin processing in accordance with a conventional method, and then brazed into a tube whose outer peripheral surface is coated with a brazing material, and assembled into a heat exchanger. As explained above in detail, the fin material manufactured by the method of the present invention has excellent sagging resistance, thermal conductivity, and mechanical strength, so that by using this fin material, the fins will not sag during brazing. It is possible to manufacture a heat exchanger that can effectively prevent , collapse, and have good joints between the separator and the fins or between the tubes and the fins. Next, the present invention will be specifically explained with reference to examples, but the present invention is not limited to the following examples unless it exceeds the gist thereof. Examples 1-2 and Comparative Examples 1-2 Aluminum having various compositions shown in Table 1 below was melted in a gas furnace, the melting temperature was set to 750°C, and a well-dried mixed gas of chlorine and nitrogen was added to the melting temperature. Blow and degas treatment was performed. After that, an aluminum-titanium-boron mother alloy (titanium content: 5% by weight, boron content: 1% by weight) was added to these molten metals so that the titanium content was 0.02% by weight, and then directly cast and rolled using the continuous casting and rolling method. Alternatively, a strip plate with a thickness of 5 mm was produced by vertical semi-continuous casting and hot rolling, respectively. In the direct continuous casting rolling method, the radius of the mold is 30 cm.
Two rolls were used, and the casting speed was 130
cm/min. On the other hand, in the vertical semi-continuous casting method, the casting speed is 4 cm/
A slab with a cross section of 45 x 105 cm was cast in 400 min.
It was hot rolled at ~500°C to form a strip plate. The obtained strip plate was cold rolled into a plate material with a thickness of 0.66 mm, then annealed at 400°C for 3 hours, and then cold rolled into a sag-resistant fin material with a thickness of 0.40 mm ( The material was heated to H14) and subjected to a tensile strength test and a sagging resistance test. For the tensile strength test, a tensile test piece with a parallel length of 30 mm and a width of 10 mm was prepared, and the measurement was performed at a tensile speed of 10 mm/min. On the other hand, for the sagging resistance test, a test piece with a length of 200 mm and a width of 20 mm is created, one end of the test piece in the longitudinal direction and a point 50 mm from that end is fixed, the other end is made to protrude horizontally, and the tip of the test piece is fixed. Freely open the part 150mm,
Next, this test piece was heated at 610°C in a vacuum of 10 -4 torr.
The sample was heated for 4 minutes, and the deflection distance due to heat at the tip of the test piece was measured. These results are shown in Table 1 below. 【table】
