パルス発生器、11はラインセンサの読取器、1
2は表示装置である。上記構成により位相変動を
有する回転体の位相角を測定するには、前記回転
物体1の円柱若しくは円筒状の回転軸2上に貼り
つけたシール3に光源4からの光をハーフミラー
5を介して照射し、前記ハーフミラー5を通過し
て得られる反射光を回転軸2と軸方向に対し平行
に設けた一次元のラインセンサ6により計測す
る。一方前記回転軸2と同心の回転軸7の円周上
には、測定したい円周上の位置に検出マーク8が
取りつけられており、その通過を光電ピツクアツ
プ電磁ピツクアツプ等の検知手段で読み取ると共
に、これを入力とするトリガパルス発生器10に
よつて電気的トリガパルスを発生させ、このトリ
ガパルスによつて走査が起動されるラインセンサ
6で後述するようにして前記シール3上の2線間
隔に対応するビツト数(模様)を読取器11で読
取り、表示装置12に出力する。
