[Detailed description of the invention] The present invention relates to a device for printing on tube-like objects made of synthetic resin or other relatively airtight materials, and is capable of printing smoothly and accurately on tube-like objects made of this type of material. It provides an impression cylinder for printing.

Conventionally, in order to print characters, figures, etc. on synthetic resin tube-like objects using the inflation method or other methods, it is possible to print characters, figures, etc. on synthetic resin tube-like objects by folding the tube-like object flat and rolling it up into a long sheet of paper, which is then printed on a rotary printing machine. However, at this time, the air inside the tube is compressed and blocked by the impression cylinder and the printing cylinder, and is accumulated between the unwinding drum and the unwinding drum, which impedes printing suitability and causes printing defects such as printing misalignment and missing characters. It is becoming.

In order to prevent this, pre-treatment is performed to make deaeration holes in the tube, but this part is sorted out in the secondary processing process (coated packaging, bag making, etc.).
It has to be extracted, is uneconomical, and has the disadvantage of wasting effort.

Furthermore, as a method to solve the above-mentioned drawbacks, a concave groove is provided in the circumferential direction of the impression cylinder in a portion including at least one fold of the tube-shaped object or its vicinity, so that the tube-shaped object can be kept in a non-pressed state. A method is known in which printing is performed while forming an air passage on at least one side edge of the substrate. (Japanese Patent Publication No. 51-74710). However, this method is very effective when there is no printed surface on the side edge of the tube-like object, but when the side edge has a printed surface, this part is a concave groove provided in the circumferential direction of the impression cylinder. Since it is in a non-pressed state, it cannot be printed, and cannot be applied when printing on the entire surface of a tube-shaped object.

In order to improve the above-mentioned drawbacks, the present invention provides a printing impression cylinder characterized in that a plurality of grooves are provided in parallel to the longitudinal direction of the impression cylinder to form air passages.

以下図面により本考案を詳細に説明する。 The present invention will be explained in detail below with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 1 is an overall schematic view of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is an overall schematic view of the impression cylinder shown in FIG. 1 in a different rotational position. A tube 5 is unwound from an unwinding drum 1 on which an original tube is wound, and is transferred to the winding side by a plurality of guide rolls 2. In the middle, the tube 5 passes through a printing position between the impression cylinder 3 and the printing cylinder 4, where printing is performed.

The impression cylinder 3 is provided with a plurality of grooves 6 parallel to the cylinder length direction. The tube 5 has an impression cylinder 3 and a printing cylinder 4.
Printing is performed by the pressure of Then, at the impression cylinder position shown in FIG. 2, the air 7 moves to the rear of the printing position. Although the amount of air that moves during the above operation is small, by providing a large number of grooves 6 in the impression cylinder 3, the air 7 moves backward, so that the tube before printing becomes almost a single sheet. The paper is smoothly fed into the printing position and printing is performed normally.

The shape of the groove 6 in the present invention must be so small that it will not cause missing characters on the printed surface, and the depth of the groove should be in the range of 0.5 to 1.0 mm, preferably 0.8 mm.
The purpose can be achieved by setting the groove width to about 0.8 to 1.0 mm. In the groove in such a range, the air moving into the groove presses the tube against the printing cylinder surface due to internal pressure, so that no missing characters occur.

With the above-described structure, the impression cylinder of the present invention prevents air from accumulating in the tube fed during the printing process, and the tube remains flat and tightly folded until it reaches the printing position. It allows for smooth feeding, highly accurate printing without missing characters, and there is no need to provide vent holes every 30 to 50 meters as in the past, making it possible to obtain printed tubes with long roll lengths.
