Ceramic MOX fuel pellets (Mixed) are made from a mixed powder of uranium dioxide powder and plutonium dioxide.
Qxide fuel (abbreviation for Qxide fuel) is sintered in a reducing atmosphere at a high temperature of about 1750°C in the furnace. Previously, in Japan, batch sintering furnaces were used to perform patch processing, but recently there has been a movement toward using continuous sintering furnaces to increase productivity. The present invention relates to this continuous sintering furnace, and the prior art will be explained with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2. Fig. 1 is a plan view showing the overall configuration including a continuous sintering furnace and a continuous conveyance device, which shows the conventional technology. (The loading of clean pellets onto the pellet transport tray and the loading of the pellet transport tray onto the pan transport skid 1 are carried out by other equipment not shown). It is conveyed to the continuous sintering furnace 6 via the inlet chamber 7 attached to the continuous sintering equipment 3 by the pushers 4 and 5 according to a certain predetermined program, and is continuously fed into the continuous sintering furnace 6. After being held and sintered for several hours in a high-temperature reducing atmosphere (nitrogen-hydrogen mixed gas atmosphere) at 1750° C.

A tray conveyance skid 1 in which pellet conveyance trays 24 loaded with green pellets are stacked passes through a passage formed by O3 bricks 22 and heaters 23 while continuously sliding on the floor in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the paper. If impurities, dust 25, etc. adhere to the bottom surface of the plate conveying skid 1, conventional equipment does not have equipment to remove the impurities so that they can enter the continuous sintering furnace 6. 41I is added to the relatively soft alumina alloy hearth brick 26 in the cross section of the continuous sintering furnace, thereby reducing its life. Once a brick is damaged, it becomes damaged at an accelerated rate and becomes unusable. Furthermore, in the case of a green pellet sintering furnace for ceramic MOX fuel containing plutonium, there is a high possibility that it is contaminated with highly toxic plutonium, and decontamination of the bricks and replacement of the bricks will require a long time and a large amount of money.・There may be cases where the entire continuous sintering furnace needs to be replaced. Therefore, the short lifespan of these bricks is the biggest bottleneck in lowering the operating efficiency of the equipment.

The purpose of the present invention is to eliminate the drawbacks of the prior art, improve the life of the bricks in the continuous sintering furnace, that is, the continuous sintering furnace, extend the maintenance period, reduce maintenance costs, and improve the operating efficiency of the equipment. To provide continuous conveyance equipment for continuous sintering furnaces.
[Summary of the Invention] The present invention provides continuous sintering by providing a cleaning device for the lower surface of the plate conveying skid integrated with the continuous inlet conveying equipment at the final part of the continuous inlet conveying equipment that supplies the plate conveying skid to the continuous sintering furnace. The purpose is to clean the lower surface of the plate conveying skid immediately before it enters the sintering chamber, thereby preventing damage to the alumina alloy bricks forming the hearth, prolonging the service life of the alumina alloy bricks, and providing inexpensive continuous conveying equipment.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 3 and 4. In FIG. 3, a lower surface cleaning device 12 of the one-dish conveying skid 1 is installed at the final part of the inlet continuous conveying equipment 2 in FIG. This removes adhering dust 25 and the like, prevents impurities from entering the continuous sintering furnace 6, and improves the life of the hearth bricks 26.
