[Detailed description of the invention] The present invention uses a soffit board with a recess in the notch of the end surface to form a ventilation passage without separately installing a ventilation frame etc. in the soffit part. An embodiment of the eave ceiling structure will be described below with reference to the drawings.

In the figure, the structure of the present invention is such that a ventilation passage 5 is formed at the intended part of the eaves soffit board 4 which is connected to the eave part 3 of the house 2.
is attached by nailing it to the lower board 6 on the upper part of the outer wall and the base board 7 on the back side of the fascia board. The eaves ceiling board 4 has notches 10 and 11 that are similar to each other at the upper edge of one end surface a and the lower edge of the other end surface b.
is formed. The notches 10 and 11 have the same length, and the notch 10 has a cutting depth of about 1/3 of the thickness t of the eave ceiling board 4, and the notch 11 has a cutting depth of about 2/3. A rising surface c is formed and the total cutting depth is set to be approximately equal to the plate thickness t. The notches 10 and 11 are formed in an L-shape with a base surface extending parallel to the eaves ceiling board to the end surfaces a and b on the inner edge of the raised surface c. Therefore, the eave ceiling board 4,
4 are placed side by side with the base surfaces of the notches 10 and 11 in contact with each other and locked together, their upper and lower surfaces are the same. Further, on the base surface of one notch 10, recesses 12, 12 are arranged in parallel, starting from the raised surface c and communicating with the end surface a. Therefore, the eaves ceiling board 4 has a notch 1
0 and 11 are locked to each other and arranged vertically side by side with a joint gap 15, so that the ventilation passes through the lower joint gap 15, the recess 12, and the upper joint gap 15. A passage 5 can be formed and the attic can be ventilated. In the structure of the present invention, the notch 10 can be formed into a recess 12 by attaching the piece piece 16 to a notch cut deeply in advance.
The notch 10 may be formed to have a fourth
As shown in the figure, the joint gap 15 can be kept constant by forming a protrusion 19 projecting forward from the raised surface c of the notch 10 and bringing the end of the protrusion 19 into contact with the other end surface b. Further, as illustrated in FIG. 5, protrusions 20 are provided protrudingly on both end surfaces a and b of the eaves ceiling board 4, and the tips of the protrusions 20 are brought into contact with the upright surface c, so that the space between the protrusions 20 and 20 is It is also possible to form a joint gap 15 having a constant size.

As described above, the structure of the present invention is that the eave ceiling boards, which have cutouts on both end faces that can be locked and connected in a similar manner and have recesses in the cutouts, are placed side by side with a joint gap between them. Since the ventilation passage is made of a material, it is possible to form a ventilation passage without installing a separate ventilation frame or the like, and it can be formed around the entire circumference of the eaves, making it possible to efficiently and uniformly ventilate the attic. Furthermore, since it is configured to be locked at the notch, it is possible to prevent the soffit from being seen through and to effectively prevent rainwater from blowing in, providing excellent effects.
