部Woを係止するに当つては、第2図に示す如く
始端部Woを折り曲げてかぎ状とした後、巻胴1
aの片隅に形成された小孔1eに単に掛け止める
だけでよい。この様にワイヤWの始端止めが行な
われると、ボビン1が駆動用フランジ3の回動に
より矢印A方向に回転され、ワイヤWが図に表わ
れないトラバーサによりボビン1の巾方向に案内
されつつボビンに巻取られていく。

つた。他方ワイヤ始端部Woの曲がりを矯正して
端抜けを行なうこともあるが、上記矯正は不十分
なものであるから始端部Woには曲がりが残つて
おり、この様な状態で各種装置に送給されると、
装置入口付近に設けられているワイヤ案内部材や
ワイヤ使用装置例えば溶接トーチを傷めるという
問題がある。ただ比較的柔軟なワイヤではこの様
な事態を生ずることなく端抜け及び送給を行なう
こともできが、この場合は逆にワイヤ始端止めを
確実に行なうことが困難となる為、ワイヤの巻取
そのものが良好に行なえないという問題が生じ
る。

は前記フランジ中心側に偏在させてスプリングを
伸縮自在に嵌装し、該スプリングの前記フランジ
遠心側先端部には、前記始端止め用孔形成位置に
到達する長さの突起を有する小突片を上記長腔部
に移動可能に設け、更に前記フランジには、前記
長腔部に連通する穴を貫通して前記小突片を前記
フランジ中心側方向へ移動させる手段を備えてな
る点に要旨を有するものである。

するときは9と付す)により脱着自在に嵌装され
ている。又該長腔部6の上部には、正面L字形の
小突片10が図示する如くスプリング8により押
上付勢せられると共にその長辺部が第3図に示す
様に案内部材7の切欠部7cを貫通し更にボビン
側端面4bから駆動用フランジ4のボビン中空胴
部1d内に突出する如く挿設されている。更に第
5図に示す如く長腔部6の外周方向内壁面6wに
は駆動用フランジ4の駆動部側端面4dの斜め上
方から上記長腔部6に連通する段付斜孔11が貫
設されると共に、該段付斜孔11内にはピストン
ロツド12が挿設されている。しかしてピストン
ロツド12は同方向に設けられた外部のエアーシ
リンダー13の作動により段付斜孔11内を下降
若しくは上昇し、該下降時には小突片10が案内
部材7の切欠部7cに沿つて所定位置までスプリ
ング圧に抗して押下げられ、一方上昇時には小突
片10が再び元の定位置まで復帰する様に構成さ
れている。

とピストン2との間に導入し、ピストン2を図に
表われないエアシリンダー等よつて前進移動させ
ることによりボビン1をピストン2と駆動用フラ
ンジ4と間に挾持した後、エアシリンダー13を
作動させてピストンロツド12を押す。その結果
小突片10は所定量だけ押下げられる。この状態
で第8図B及び第9図(第8図Bの−矢視
図)に示す様にワイヤWを、その始端部Woを曲
げることなく直線状態のままで(即ちワイヤWの
弾性限界内で)ボビン1の小孔1eをくぐらせて
中空胴部1d内へ所定長さだけ挿入する。この後
再びエアシリンダー13を作動させてピストンロ
ツド12を上昇させると、小突片10は圧縮状態
にあるスプリング8の弾性力によつて押上げら
れ、第8図C及び第10図(第8図Cの−矢
視図)に示す如くワイヤ始端部Woを巻胴1aの
内周面に押え付ける。こうしてワイヤ始端止め作
業は素早く且つ確実に行なわれる。この後図に表
われないモータにより駆動用フランジ4を回転さ
せると、ワイヤWは図に表われないピンチローラ
ー及びトラバーサを介してボビン1に巻取られて
いく。こうして巻上がつたボビン1を駆動用フラ
ンジ4から離脱させるに際しては、エアシリンダ
ー13を再び作動させてピストンロツド12を押
し、小突片10を押下げればよい。こうしてワイ
ヤ始端部Woが直線状態の保有した満巻ボビンが
得られる。従つてこの様な満巻ボビンからワイヤ
Wを巻戻した場合、端抜けを極めて容易に行うこ
とができ、又ワイヤ始端部Woには曲がり等が生
じていないのでワイヤ案内部材を傷めることもな
い。
