Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、使い捨ておむつに関する。
通常使い捨ておむつは、液体不透過性のプラスチック裏
シート、木材パルプの吸収性バットおよび湿気透過性表
シートからなり、これらの構成成分は接着剤のラインに
より一緒に固定されており、裏シートおよび表シートは
通常おむつの周辺のまわりにおいて直接接着剤により相
カニに結合されている。ある使い捨ておむつは、股区域
においておむつに造形効果および／または集める効果を
与えかつ幼児の足のまわりにおいて流体抵抗性のシール
を促進するために弾性バンドを包含する。
既知のおむつの例は、オーストラリア特許明細書５２６
３３８号および同５２８７８６吟に見出される。
使い捨ておむつは、非常に安価にしかも効率的に高速度
の製作機で構成することができ、かつまた幼児の正常の
体の動きにかかわらず液体の***物を効率よく含有しか
つ保持することにおいてきわめてすぐれた性能を与える
ような設計をもつことが望ましいであろう。幼児は***

また、使い捨ておむつは赤ん坊の形状に快適であってす
ぐれた外観をもちかつ、液体の排出が起こった後でさえ

件が存在する。
本発明は新規かつ有用な従来の提案に対する代書物に関
する。
本発明によれば、湿気不透過性裏シート、繊維質吸収性
バット構造体、前記吸収性バットの上に横たわる柔軟な
疎水性表シート（ここにおいて定義する）からなり、前
記構成成分は一緒に固定されてサンドイッチ構造体を形
成し、そしておむつの中央の股区域において前記表シー
ト中に開口が設けられており、弾性のゾーンが表シート
中に設けられており、前記弾性ゾーンは表シートに張力
−を与えかつ下に横たわるバット構造体から離れた少な
くとも前記開口に隣接した区域に表シートを押しやる傾
向があることを特徴とする使い捨ておむつが提供される
。
この明細書において、「疎水性表シート」という用語は
、シートに沿った湿気の吸上げに抵抗性でありかつシー
ｊ・を通る移動湿気に対して抵抗性であるシートを意味
する。好ましくは、表シートは高度の疎水性を有し、そ
してＡＳＴＭ試験部３２　　Ｄ−１１１７／８０パート
ｖに従うバス’ｌｒ　ｙト沈下時間の試験（ｂａｓｋｅ
ｔ　　５ｉｎｋ　　ｔｉｍｅ　　ｔｅｓｔ）において１
２時間より大きい沈下時間を有利には有する。
さらに、表シートは好ましくはカーディングされたレー
ヨーンまたは同様な繊維のウェブを疎水性樹脂で結合し
たものでり、このシートは通気性でありかつ触感が比較
的柔らかい。典型的には、シートは２４ｇ、ｓ、ｍ、で
あり、すぐれた団結性（ｉｎｔｅｇｒｉｔｙ）をイアす
る。
柔軟な表シートのための材料は好ましくは液体の透過に
対して高度に抵抗性であるが、通気性でありかつ湿気の
蒸気が透過することができる。使用できる材料の例は、
撥湿気性不織布、溶融吹込成形ポリプロピレンシートま
たは有孔ポリエチレンフィルムからなる。設置域中の開

シールを確立するためにおむつの設置域の対向する周辺
部分に沿って弾性バンドを有し、弾性のゾーンおよび表
シートは前記弾性バンドから間隔を置いて位置する使い
捨ておむつに適用される。しかしながら、製作の経済性
のため、これらの弾性バンドを省略して、疎水性の表シ
ートを残して幼児の足のまわりに「シール」を提供する
ことができるであろう。
有利には、バットは長方形であり、おむつは漏刻（ａｎ
　ｈｏｕｒ−ｇｌａｓＳ）の全体の形状を有する。
本発明の好ましくかつ重要な実施態様において、表シー
トの弾性ゾーンはおむつの縦方向に対して実質的に平行
に延びるストリップの形状である。
しかしながら、他の弾性の構造体において、必要に応じ
て、例えば、おむつの腰バンド区域から中央の開口に向
かって縦方向に伸びる弾性バンドを使用して張力効果を
得ることができる。
裏シートから遠い吸収性バットの表面部分は木材バルブ
繊維（これは好ましい吸収性繊維である）の処理された
表面であることができるが、湿気を容易に透過する材料
の不織布を有利に使用して吸収性バットの上に横たえる
ことができる。
本発明において有効に使用することができる他の追加の
本発明の有利な特徴は、開口のそれぞれの縦方向の側面
と設置域の隣接するへりとの中間区域において、下に横
たわる材料に表シートを固定する手段を設けることであ
る。好ましくは、この相互接続はホットノルｌ−接着剤
のような接着剤のラインにより確立され、ここで好まし
い実に態様において、接着剤は表シートなドに横たわる
不織布の湿気透過性シートに取り付ける。
腰バンド区域の−・方または双方において、おむつ構造
体を横切って延びる接着剤のバンドによりおむつ構造体
を接着剤で閉じることが有利であることがある。
接着剤はバンドで湿気透過性裏シートへ適用することが
できる。
少なくとも本発明の好ましい実施態様において、吸収性
バット構造体は設置域において排出物の溜め様特徴を形
成し、赤ん坊の皮膚とおむつの湿った部分との間の非常
に制限された接触のみが起こるべきである。
本発明は表シート中の開口について種々の形状および立
体的配置を用いることができる。例えば、おむつの前区
域に向って卵形の開口の片寄りは便利であり、例えば、
約１２ｃｍの幅および約３０ｃｍの長さを有する。典型
的には、これらの弾性ゾーンは、伸張しない状態で幅約
５ｍｍの弾性部材により提供され、そしておむつがその
最高度に伸張されたとき、約１２０％の延びで所定位置
に接着剤で固定される。開口の形状寸法は、表シートの
弾性部材の精確な形状寸法のような他のパラメーターに
従って変化することができる。
用いることができる他の追加の本発明の特徴は１表シー
トに張力を与える目的で、おむつに対して横方向に延び
る細長い弾性バンドを提供することである。例えば、１
または２以上のバンドは、開口のへりに隣接する区域か
らおむつの設置域の隣接するへりまでに延長させて設け
ることができる。

図面に示すおむつは、狭い設置域を形成するように切り
のけられた中間の側面部分を有するように成形されたポ
リエチレンプラスチックの裏シー）１０、狭い長方形の
吸収性バラ）１１．湿気透過性の不織繊維のバットのカ
バーシート１２および疎水性の実質的に液体不透過性の
不織繊維の表シート１３からなる。カバーシート１２は
裏シート１０と同一・寸法であり、これらの構成成分あ
ホットメルト接着剤によりおむつの周辺付近において直
接固定されており、そして接着剤はおむつの縦方向に延

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １、湿気不透過性裏シート、繊維質吸収性バット構造体
    、前記吸収性バットの上に横たわる柔軟な疎水性表シー
    ト（ここにおいて定義する）からなり、前記構成成分は
    一緒に固定されてサンドイッチ構造体を形成し、そして
    おむつの中央の股区域において前記表シート中に開口が
    設けられており、弾性のゾーンが表シート中に設けられ
    ており、前記弾性ゾーンは表シートに張力を与えかつ下
    に横たわるバット構造体から離れた少なくとも前記開口
    に隣接した区域に表シートを押しやる傾向があることを
    特徴とする使い捨ておむつ。 ２、前記表シートは１２時間より大きいバスケット沈下
    試験時間を有する材料からなる特許請求の範囲第１項記
