B. Prior Art A conventional vacuum dehydrator for fabric strips is equipped with a suction box that is connected to a blower in the transfer path of the fabric strip that is transferred by an appropriate means and has a slit groove on the transfer surface of the fabric strip. The actuation of the vacuum cleaner applied suction force to the suction box to dehydrate the strip of fabric. However, in order to improve the dehydration efficiency with the vacuum dehydrator, it is possible to increase the suction pressure, but increasing the suction pressure increases the tension of the fabric strip, and the disadvantage is that the fabric strip is sucked into the slit groove. It was hot. Furthermore, when air jet dehydration (spray dehydration) is used to increase the spray pressure in order to improve the dehydration efficiency, there is a problem in that the tension of the belt-shaped fabric becomes large, similar to vacuum dehydration. Note that a dewatering device for paper machines that uses both spray dehydration and vacuum dehydration is introduced in Japanese Patent Publication No. 54-40645, but this cannot be directly applied to the dehydration of belt-like fabrics; There were problems in that the efficiency was significantly lowered, excessive tension was applied to the fabric, and the feel of the fabric was impaired.

C. Structure of the Invention The present invention provides a blow box for blowing hot air toward the upper surface of the belt-like fabric on the upper surface side midway along the transport route of the belt-like fabric, and a spray box that blows hot air toward the upper surface of the belt-like fabric midway through the transport route of the belt-like fabric. In a vacuum dehydrator equipped with a suction box that faces the fabric and sucks out the moisture contained in the fabric strip together with air, the hot air outlet of the spray box and the suction port of the suction box are connected to a slit extending in the width direction of the fabric strip. A flexible band-shaped shielding plate is installed on both sides of the slit-shaped hot air outlet and suction port in the longitudinal direction so that it can be adjusted in the width direction of the band-shaped fabric. It houses a winding-type feeding width adjustment mechanism for a band-shaped shielding plate.

D. Embodiment FIGS. 1 to 3 show embodiments of the present invention. In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a web which is a strip-shaped processed material to be transferred by appropriate means, 2 and 3 are a suction box and a spray box installed oppositely at predetermined positions on the transfer path of the web 1, and both boxes 2 and 3 are Main bodies 7, 8 having box-shaped cross sections having flange portions 4a, 4a, 4b, 4b on the web transfer surface, and having an air outlet 5 and an air inlet 6, and flange portions 4a, 4a, 4b of the main bodies 7, 8. , 4b, respectively, and slit grooves 11, 12 extending in the width direction of the web 1 are formed on opposing surfaces thereof. 13 is a separator connected to the air outlet 5 of the suction box 2; 14 is a blower such as a Roots blower connected to the separator 13 and the air inlet 6 of the spray box 3; By driving the separator 13
A suction force is applied to the suction box 2 through the suction box 2, and this suction force dehydrates the moisture contained in the lower surface of the running web 1, and the dehydrated moisture is separated into water and air by the separator 13, and the separated air is The separated air is forced into the blow box 3 by the blower 14 and is blown onto the upper surface of the web 1. Numerals 15 and 16 are suction/spray width adjustment mechanisms provided at symmetrical positions on both sides of the suction box 2 and spray box 3 in the width direction.
has partition plates 1 on both sides of the boxes 2 and 3.
Storage chambers 19 and 20 are formed by 7 and 18, and flexible band-shaped shielding plates 23 and 24 wound around rotating shafts 21 and 22 are stored in these storage chambers 19 and 20. Guide grooves 25, 25, 26, 2 are provided on the opposing inner end surfaces of 9, 9, 10, 10.
6 are formed respectively, and these guide grooves 25, 25,
The band-shaped shielding plates 23 and 24 are slidably fitted into the rotating shafts 21 and 26, respectively.
2 is rotated manually or electrically to change the amount of extension of the band-shaped shielding plates 23, 24 as appropriate, thereby making it possible to adjust the suction width and the blowout width. Reference numeral 27 denotes an endless net conveyor used when it is necessary to transport knitted fabrics with low tension. and spray box 3. Incidentally, if there is no need to transport the strip-shaped processed material 1 with low tension, the above-mentioned net conveyor 27 may be omitted.

Now, when the blower 14 is driven by an appropriate means, a suction force is applied to the slit groove 11 of the suction box 2 through the separator 13, and the running web 1 is suctioned from its lower surface, and the water content is dehydrated. Ru. This dehydrated water is separated into water and air by the separator 13, and only air is sent to the blower 14.
The liquid is sucked into the spray box 3 and is then forced into the spray box 3. Due to the suction and pressure feeding of this blower 14, the temperature of the separated air increases due to friction, compression, etc. (approximately 80 to 120
℃), and the separated air becomes hot air and is sent to the spray box 3, and the slit groove 12 of the spray box 3
The water is sprayed onto the web 1 as it travels through the air. By blowing the hot air, the viscosity of the water contained in the web 1 is reduced, and the web 1 becomes easier to separate from the web 1, resulting in extremely high dewatering efficiency.

Incidentally, the present invention includes a suction box 2 and a spray box 3.
Since they are installed facing each other, even if the gap between the suction box 2 and the strip-shaped processed material 1 such as knitted fabric becomes large due to the thickness of the net conveyor 27, the strip-shaped processed material 1 can be dehydrated regardless of the gap size. It can be done efficiently. Further, in the above embodiment, air is sucked and pumped by one blower, but a separate blower may be connected to the blow box 3.

E. Effects of the Invention The present invention is characterized in that the air outlet of the spray box and the suction port of the suction box are in the form of slits that extend in the width direction of the belt-like fabric, and that the spray box is arranged opposite to each other on the upper surface side and the suction box on the lower surface side. As a result, the blowing pressure of the hot air from the outlet of the blow box can be made high, and the suction pressure from the suction port of the suction box can also be made high, and at this time, the bias of the action in the width direction of the strip-shaped fabric can be increased. can be adjusted according to the width dimension of the belt-shaped fabric by the belt-shaped shielding plate, and dewatering can be carried out efficiently. In addition, the band-shaped shielding plate is flexible and is installed in the winding type feeding width adjustment mechanism and stored on both sides of both boxes, so it can be configured compactly.
Operation can also be made easier.
